Leroy Anderson (1908-1975) was an American composer. Musician and conductor of Swedish background. He has been described as "one of the great American masters of light orchestral music”.
Ronald Binge (1910- 1979) was a British composer and arranger of light music. He arranged many of Mantovani's most famous pieces before composing his own music, which included the famous “Elizabethan Serenade” and "Sailing By".

    Fascinating footage Steve - those cars in such good nick, also poignant to think that many of the people depicted are now no longer with us...

    Yes, almost all, including the vehicles must have passed on. The kids are probably still around though, as am I. I think the film is from 1958.
