Brendon - I know you're a huge Guns'n Roses fan, I'd like to see a new album released first, then release EP's with additional new music as a follow up, with a live release of all of it as a double live album. I agree with your take on Poison - have the musicians and vocalists you need to accurately show off your recorded music. Jimi Jamison and Jim Peterik anything is going to be really good. So, I'll be looking for that in August. If CDs go sky high, I have 3,000 other albums to play that I already own, and these profiteers will get my middle-finger. Right now I have a hard time justifying paying 10 (frauds)* or more for a single CD. * frauds = federal reserve audit unit "dollars" which is backed by nothing, but is part of an unconstitutional credit system.

Four of the Jimi Jamison country-rock tunes are available to stream. They're on spotify (and other services, I should imagine) under the name of an eight track release called "Unreleased Songs". They include his version of Pride Of Lions' The Sound Of Home. It's good stuff. Looking forward to the full album.

  • @BrendonSnyder

Yes and neither Motley nor Def Leppard were all that great either in the past. Motley because Vince could never sing live and Def Leppard because it was hard for them to reproduce their studio sound and Joe can’t hit the highs. Maybe Poison sounded better on the most recent Stadium tour. But when I saw poison the 4 times between 1991 and 2002, not one time was I impressed by their live performance.

Regarding cd and record price hikes, maybe the goal is to drive everyone to a streaming in service, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, who knows. But I'm like you, I find it difficult to justify paying $20.00 for a cd let alone $32.00.

  • @BrendonSnyder

It’s mostly only the new releases. All the existing stuff stays around $10 to $12. I just think some bands sell so few CDs that they’re jacking up the prices to make it worth while and I get it but it sucks too. It’s going to make me not buy stuff. This just happened with the new Angels album from Australia that was $30 new plus $30 to ship so at $60 I’m not buying it and they’re losing sales.

It's a crying shame that my favorite band of all time Poison isn't interested in recording anything new. I'm not happy with them being a nostalgic act. Forget that crap. I want a new Poison album. I need a new Poison album. I crave a new Poison album. Stop catering to a select group of fans that only want to hear the greatest hits time and time again. By catering to them you're screwing over the rest of us. Shame on you Poison. And that goes for any other band or artist that isn't interested in recording anything new. You might as well retire. I'm just saying 😢

I've been to every single Poison tour and seen them well over 30times and they more than almost any band from their era have ALWAYS been fantastic live and actually live.
