Music Monday Comes to Space

Ғылым және технология

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 35 Commander and musician Chris Hadfield picked up his Larrivée guitar and joined a national Canadian music celebration called "Music Monday". This year, Hadfield was chosen to play the song "I.S.S." co-written with Ed Robertson, the lead singer from the group "Barenaked Ladies."The song is expected to be included on an album Hadfield recorded on orbit in his spare time.

"I should be practicing the guitar, practicing anything, becoming something, be talented and stop procrastinating" Pretty much what I was thinking. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one being inspired by the amazing Chris Hadfield, wanting to be something more because he shows us that it's possible.

***** they are affected by the attraction of the earth, so they turn around to not fall on the planet. But the fact as they are in orbit is that they falling (vertical attraction is remplaced by horizontal in certain way). The ISS and all the objects inside falling at the same speed, that's why they floating if you take the ISS as referencial. 0gravity is when your not affected by any planet/star. You have to be out of any attraction. They are only in microgravity. We can also say that they are in 0 G but no 0 gravity.
