Music Man Rabea Sabre Review

The Music Man Rabea Sabre is a fantastic guitar. It’s a stunner to look at, sounds amazing, and feels super comfortable. The neck carve is interesting, and I discovered something about it that I previously didn’t know, but overall it’s comfortable. In this video, I cover the specs, talk about the price, share some sound clips, and more. Thank you for watching!

love EBMM flame maple necks. awesome that you got one. I have a regular saber (with flame maple) and I don't think I'd 'upgrade' to the signature although I do think I'd prefer his neck carve. Beautiful guitar and great playing, really dug the cleans you demo'd.

Same here! The flame maple necks are awesome. The regular sabre looks and sounds sick! Thank you for the compliment! :D

Just remember that from a structural standpoint, the neck carve can't be smaller as it moves away from the nut. But it can be as minimal of a taper as possible. And that's what they've done. The neck on my Sterling Cutlass CT50 HSS is very similar, and it's just stellar. They may have told Bea that it's this, that, or the other thing? But in the end, it can only be what it is. You just can't have more mass at the nut than the heel. It will be too unbalanced and break way easy.

Regarding the arm in and out, double check if there is a set screw on it like the gotoh 510s have, there will be a small screw to keep the arm in place on systems like that, and it might be pressed in. Nice video man, and great guitar.

The finish is a lot more satin than I thought.

I think the "beer" thing is confusing if you have an American accent - in an English accent, it lacks the, uhh, "hard R" 😅 So you'd be pronouncing it more like "bee-uh".
