That crazy bass he's doing is a vocalized tongue bass. He's hitting the bass notes with his tongue (and getting a really good tone with it) and then harmonizing that with his voice.

Rolling the tip of his tongue as fast as possible to the roof of the mouth, is how you can achieve the tongue bass, or course D low is by far the best I’ve ever heard.

little secret, the d-low tongue bass is actually done with the tongue in the clickroll position but your breathing out. I don't know why but I've only ever seen 1-2 people on the internet aware of this. Anyways, the vibration is extremely hard on your head, like you'll feel like ur gonna get a concussion if you maintain it for long enough lol

Obviously, you don't have to, but would be cool and I'm sure it would be much appreciated by your viewers that want to learn more...like me 👀

@@DrumRollTonyReacts they're probably referring to other videos where you talk about nested rhythms, odd groupings, subdivision manipulation, etc. Many of us beatboxers do have musical training and love to nerd out about theory, but many more are just people making funny noises and trying to copy other beatboxers without a real understanding of the theory behind it.

Something super simple as snorting like a pig, an changing your pitch with opening your mouth or rolling back of your tongue while snorting, will give you a dub step like sound, super simple but something like this is achievable just by playing around with the air ways an snorting of your nose an pitches. The human body is amazing what sounds each an everyone of us can make, an each is unique some can’t do the most simplest of things, while still being able to do the most complicated.

Just found your channel recently and I love your videos, you are really knowledgable and your input is really educational. To give some insight into this, on the last drop with the bass he uses 2 sounds from the mouth at the same time. It's voice + vibrating tongue + vowel which you are pronnouncing. This guy you reacted to is pretty much the best beatboxer right now and he is amazing both with skill and musicallity. It would be great if you could check out some of his other stuff since he has been putting out some music recently and it would be awesome if you can breakdown certain elements of his tracks. It's a completely different type of view when somebody who is not familiar with beatbox reacts to it since you cannot comprehend most of the sounds which is normal but you can comment on anything music related which is infinetly more valuable in my opinion. You can check out his track "If my bones are breaking"

Some performances with nice melodies are Twisted Fate by Den & My Way by River. Cloud's wildcard 2023 has a great vibe and structure, especially if youre a house fan. Feels Like Nothing by Stitch and Metamorphosis by Gene Shinozaki both utilize unique techniques. For a clean, flowy groove you can't go wrong with Wing, I recommend Xanax or I Want It. Also for group performances, If only by Hiss, Alexinho, River, & Colaps is amazing. Love the beatbox reactions by the way. I'm not a beatboxer myself but it's always interesting to hear musical analysis from experts who arent beatboxers. Your perspective is very informative for a casual listener like myself who doesn't know much about music theory or the more technical aspects of beatbox compositions, and it makes me appreciate the beatbox community even more. :D
