This may sound silly but it feels like Ado is so good at treating her voice as an instrument to accompany every other part of the song. I don't feel like I get that with any other artist, and thank you for introducing me to her.

been listening to jpop allot, especially them from niconico, they do sing like an instrument. i dont know if you know mafumafu, he kinda sing allot like an electric guitar on high note. i don't know allot about music i might sound stupid lol

@@HY31494 i like it more too, and it was the first time i could listen to her on premiere video i love the fact that its done heavier, and also, Ado's voice is amazing if you have just discovered her, i hightly recommend you to listen to more of her music, her hability to sing really different genres and to change from one voice to another instantly without breaking a sweat, something out of this world

@@DrumRollTonyReacts The whole tour's practically sold out, EU & US, except for Chicago because they booked a bigger venue after tickets were already on sale. She even sold out a 15k capacity arena in Brussels, even though there's another concert in the 2.5h away Düsseldorf a few days later in a 7+k venue, which is also sold out if you don't count a few single tickets.

I looked an hour after they opened ticket sales for the March 16th concert and the only remaining were basically back and corner rows if you wanted more than one ticket. I think they could've sold out Lanxess Arena if they wouldn't go to Brussels. And these scammers are everywhere, everytime. It's a real shame.

100% agree, this channel reactions has put me on to a lot of great music!! Also yeah Ado is definitely in my favorite artists. So much variety in her singing, and her production team is great. This cover was insane, get chills at the pull back into the chorus towards the end. There’s a bit of variation of the vocal line right b4 that always hits the spot. Band is tight. What more can you need😎🤟🏾

Both have their merits. Obviously the studio version will be more polished. Many like Ado’s voice in a raw state which leads to them enjoying the live better. Would by no means indicate either is inferior to the other.

i heard it and i still prefer the studio one but i understand why people like the live version more as it is more raspy and exhausted so it fits perfect with this song in particular

Ado's version of a TK song. Toru Kitajima is the vocalist of Ling Tosite Sigure, an excellent band, I recommend listening to it, it is really interesting. I find this version of Ado even more powerful than the original. Incredible. This girl is giving a different orientation to this thing of making covers.

There is a live version that honestly deserves to be a video on it's own too if you feel like it, it just absolutely blew my mind.

The character written 歌いましたin the song of ado means cover. Even if it's not an original song, I love how to arrange it, and I think it's something I can't give to others✨

Live Version is just insane and has the most emotional Scream I heard in my Life. To be honest I always get Tears in my Eyes , on a good Day , otherwise I just Cry . Band is amazing as well in the Live Version.

Gonna echo what everyone else is saying. Live version is brilliant. Great video, I never notice half the things you point in your videos.

This song is actually a cover version of the same named song sung by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (full name Toru Kitajima) which was the OP for anime series Tokyo Ghoul.

Wow chills down my spine, there is emotion given in every single word, especially the drop. She deservers so much credit for this singing. One hell of a remake. This is a remake though right. I remember the person who sang this was a man.

I think this is the perfect version of unravel, i bet that TK(i saw in google, i bet he is the creator) wanted to do this but couldn’t put in this amount of emotion in the song.

I like both this and the original by TK, but Asterism's instrumental version is my favourite. They're so talented but also so expressive that I don't miss vocals at all when I'm listening to them.

I think a great song to analyze/check out would be 'Imi Oneun Sori' (The Footsteps of My Dear Love). It's the outro song from the movie 'The Handmaiden' and i think it's an absolute masterpiece how well the instruments and voice(s) are weaved together. Ofc. the song get's even better if you have watched the movie but i'm pretty sure it's worth a shot anyway since it's just such a darn great composition.

If you haven’t already I recommend listening to the ultrakill ost it has some very good songs, I’d start with tenebre Rosso Sangue it’s my personal favorite in the game

I found this channel and have been watching these videos for the past couple months. I came from the anime side and have literally no knowledge about how music works. But I keep watching and picking up things cause of how well you describe it. But as I get better at understanding the terms you use and what you mean, I still for the life of me can’t pick out the bass when you talk about it. Like obvious solo parts I can hear but when it layered underneath the band I can’t hear it for the life of me. Is that normal for people who have no experience in music or am I just tone deaf?

You are definitely not tone deaf. That expression really is not applicable to anyone as we can all hear tones. My first question to you would be is: what is your listening environment when you are checking out these songs? If it's your phone you are not gonna hear the bass much at all. Phone speakers are so just inept at anything music really. I strongly suggest trying a headphone experience or something more substantial to help find those low ends.

Its not a drummer set of terms but rather basic music terms. What words do you want info on? The best thing would be to Google them to help understand what they mean and slowly over time you will start using the same terminology for music.
