In this Part, Pyarelel ji tells u that he is happy that we are asking him about Burman Dada, whom he respects a lot. He says, Burman Dada’s thinking, style and composition was different from all others. Dada never used to go asking for work, work used to come to him. Dada was not in the rat race, while Pancham, Laxmikant-Pyarelal and many others were in the rat race. Burman Dada was like a ‘gau aadmi’(a holy person). Dada commanded respect in the industry. All other composers and singers used to respect him a lot.

I am fan of both SD Burman and RD Burman because they gave opportunities to my idol the legendary versatile multi talented genius gurudev Kishore Kumar

@Dhiraj Singh, It was SDBurman who spotted Kishore Kumar and trained him to sing in his own voice. Before that Kishore used to copy KL Saigal. In 1950 Kishore sang only for Dev under SDBurman.

True. Among them, Burman Dada was the foremost in complimenting almost everyone of his contemporaries.

Rahul Kumar SD Burman could compete with younger generation in his late sixties, while those of his generation and even younger than him faded away. Thanks.
Kya baat kahi hai Sir. Tata Birla ka ghar nahi, gandhi ji ka khat aur chashma bara. How much respect was there in that generation.

@FarukhManzoor, Sach to yeh hai ki hum logon ko Pyarelal ji ne ghar mein bulaya tha jahan koi bhi aawaz nahin hona chaahiye. Mumbai mein Mount Mary ke raaste mein unka ghar hai jahan bahut aawaz kam hota hai. Jab hum pahunche to maloom para ki unke baaju ke Ghar mein kuch carpenter ka kaam chal raha hai jo shaayad unko bhi maloom nahin ho. Interview lena para Kyonki mushkil se appointment mila tha. V
It's a beautiful initiative..i really loved these insight of golden era of Indian Music..Only one things that has made it better, The Sound Quality..had it recorded with good microphone..it would have been even better for listener

@ Prafulla Kumar ji. Thanks for appreciating our efforts. I agree with you about the background noise. The problem is that these recordings are not in a sound proof studio, but in their homes. And there's too much traffic and other noise everywhere. Thanks again.

@Arnab Chakraborty, Aap ki baat bilkul sahi hai. Har ek baat mein number one thay. As a singer, composer, classical, folk, western, sab mein maahir thay. Unhonein ek autobiography aur kuchh articles bhi likhi Hain. Achche pati, pita aur guru, sabh ke baare mein achcha bolna, music unki life thi. Koi gossip nahin, kahin phaaltoo aana jaana nahin. Mahatma thay sahi meaning mein.
