MUSIC | Bokamoso Choir based in Mabopane on their choral journey
Bokamoso Choir is based in Mabopane. Founded in 2022, it is directed by violist and tenor, Kgaugelo Mpyane.
The choir has more than 80 singers, who are well balanced among all vocal ranges, and it mainly performs works from the choral-symphonic repertoire.
The group recently got crowned African Champions, at the African Choral and Gospel competition which was held in Rwanda-Kigali.

Superb Mr Mpane. Your contribution into the development of mabopane and surrounding areas is phenomenal. Running a choir it's an expensive exercise. I am however, grateful for your giving heart. The time, energy, as well as the finances made available into turn the group of beautiful at the same time expirence choristers into stars is highly appreciated. Moroka.
