No he added reverb and avalon compression to sound like himself This voice here was with no effect (not saying that reverb and compression are cheating, it just makes you sound like yourself) but autotune is cheating

@@medmusic7977 there will be effects on his live vocal - a different chain suited to the application (the fact it’s live rather than recorded in a studio which presents different challenges). We were more specifically talking about the way his voice has grown with age, he sung “younger” before, not worse, just he was a completely different Matt Bellamy. You can add all the reverb and effects on you like but the source is what’s changed so dramatically over the years!

@@thelisted3004 nothing changed, he just added more effects n choose better equipments, on this video he was using a 200$ microphone, now hes using a newwman kms 105 which costs 2000$, theres a big difference when u sing on a dynamic mic vs condenser one, one thing changed is the sustain on his voice, he learned to use his chest and diaphragm to keep the pitch, remove the avalon vt 727 vaccum tube compressor and hell sound like shit, i like bellamy but thats the truth, he cant sing live without effects, just like he cant play guitar without effects just like tom morello and gary moore, its their signature, end of the story

Anything in Showbiz and Origin Of Symmetry barely sounded anything like Radiohead's shit because of the mix of classical elements and modern sounding.

Radiohead sounds way more experimental and chill, sure you could argue they become quite aggressive in certain songs, like Blow Out maybe or 2 + 2 = 5 etc, but not as much as early Muse. Early Muse were way more intense and chaotic, I don't understand the comparison between Muse and Radiohead. The only thing really similar is Thom and Matt's voice but their singing style are completely different, young Matt does a lot of head voice/falsetto in their songs compared to Radiohead, or at least in a more intense way, and the way their lyrics are written are too different.
