Thank very much of the explanation but I have a question if you may answer. I am BMD patient and I have watched a video in 2008 about a concept treatment in a form of a vaccine that forces the body to reproduce the dystrophin enzyme could you please inform us if there is such treatment or tell us at least if it is doable ?

Can anyone explain what's the function of creatine kinase in the muscle cells?

It’s an enzyme that adds a phosphate onto creatine, Resulting in production of phosphocreatine , phosphocreatine can be used to quickly add a phosphate onto ADP to make ATP. It allows the cell to quickly make ATP under anaerobic conditions.

I Googled; no, you can't. Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy is a genetic disease, which can be caused by many different mutations. The MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) has a page on their website on it.
