6:58 she was going to write her name using Chinese characters but she didn't know the second one which is why her assistant tried to sign it to her, then she gave up and just wrote it in Hangul (Korean writing system). With Chinese characters you have to memorize each one individually if you want to read/write something whereas Hangul is extremely simple since you just have to know the Korean alphabet. I think it's supposed to emphasise the fact that she grew up poor and possibly didn't have much of an education

I love this ep because in this ep it showed the breaking point of Ga On's morality and foundation (which was acted out amazingly) that it brought me to a sobbing mess of confusion😭 and any episodes that makes me into a puddle is automatically my favourite, lol. This show really made me question my own morality... Sometimes I would be appalled by Yohan's ways and sometimes agree with him (just proves how well written of a character he is by making you love/hate them (personally I find those characters the hardest to write)) and that's what I loved this show about, getting me to question even if it was suffocating at times. You still don't know the main plot...upcoming episodes are the real masterpieces and an emotional journey.. Twist Between two main lead will be amazing..

About the thing on Sunah and the way she acts discussed on 5:20 , I don't know why many didn't notice it but it's kind of hidden details in all conversation she have with the foundation old creep that she was a victim of not only domestic violent(which I will never understand why even in real life it's often brushed off as nothing much compared to violence from strangers when violence from family hurts the most), but also a victim of sexual assault and very much possibly rape since she was a child. I think it was mentioned somewhere Yohan and Sunah met when they're around 12-14 years old? They're the same age btw. She worked shortly at Kang mansion and then after jumping off the window she got transferred to work as a maid again for another guy(the foundation old creep). The old creep back then made use of her vulnerable state and his power to exploit her in sexual ways, I interpreted her acting childish and touchy with people in unsettling way because of her traumas from it, she couldn't and wasn't at all allowed to be a child when she was at a child's age so she kind of retained that childish external feature, it's notable that she only fully acts childish when she's alone or feeling 'playful' and wants to annoy someone. Her touchy acts was also because that's how she was groomed by the old creep, that she could and has to use her body to get her what she wants since she was female.(another reason why she stood up for the waitress who got sexual assaulted when she was pouring water for old creep and why she went cold when the old creep said he "dirtied the girls he touched" and also why she said what she said during her speech to the runaway girls because that's what she was taught and how she survived to the top. I do find some truth in her speech though, many things are taught to girls but also none of it includes the importance of having evidence, unfortunately sometimes fighting/rejecting when a crime happen doesn't work because of power dynamic/physical differences/fear of being killed for fighting etc. and that's where having evidence comes into play. Becuase even if the law doesn't stand with the victim for the perpetrator is a powerful person, having evidence is still better than not having anything.) She was already cunningly calculative and has a habit of stealing when she was working for Kang mansion (coming from her poor and deprived of everything background, the first two I would say is a common trait seen with kids born dirt poor and had to fend for themselves or help with fending their family against the harsh society at a young age because you have to do whatever to survive and being smart/calculative/selfish/ambitious is what makes them survive, I'm using those words in neutral if not positive ways btw), but the childish and touchy behaviours only appear in her adult state so it wasn't much of her original self but her way coping with her traumas. Her obsession with power also pretty much stems from her relationship with the old creep, according to her speech given she probably tried seeking for help about the abuses but was shunned by police because old creep is a rich powerful men who's well known for upright moral and humanity while she was just a little broke child who probably lied for some money, public would believe the men rather than a child who works for him. Which in result, makes her have realise that for her to not get hurt and used like that, she has to have power in her hand. I feel like as an Asian it's also a common thing for children to distrust police because when we're young, parents often will say "if you're naughty, police will come and catch you and lock you in jail". Even loving parents says that and it slowly makes the image of police because naughty kid catcher and cause of a fear, many child even when they need help would be scared to seek help from police because of it.

She indeed doesn't really have a preference for sexuality and stuffs because yeah that's just how she does things, her liking/picking on Yohan was also only because he was the one she first saw that also suffered from domestic violence, and he was also a little bit crazy just like her. But his crazy is because he initially doesn't know how to act around people and have no idea what is perceived normal and okay by the society, it's from unlearnt behaviour. Her crazy is the kind that stems from leant behaviour, she knows what she's doing is not okay but does it anyways(stealing the necklace despite being warned by Yohan). That's also why she's keep on trying to draw parallels between her and Yohan because she sees herself in him? Or more like she wants to see herself in him after so many years and they've both drastically changed, Yohan changing for the better and yet she's still stuck and lonely in any form of human relationship wise. (I don't even like them together but I just love talking about Sunah because she's as problematic as Yohan or maybe even more but the things that drive her to become like that is interesting and often not talked about by others?)

Also Gaon and Yohan is actually more similar than what they show, in terms of morals. Gaon as shown in his past being a reckless teenager with very much grey morals is his original self, whereas the naive upright moral person is the Gaon shaped by Soohyun and the professor, he basically took on their morals and disposed his own. It's also shown in him constantly suppresssing his feelings especially negative emotions(anger/hatred/suicide thoughts etc) when he's with them and he's back to the old real him when he's angry/sad, just no thoughts only reckless bold acts. Instead of Yohan grooming him it's more of the professor grooming him? I mean the professor did lie to him for years despite being his father figure and purposely grooming him to become a spy, he probably also approached and stick with Gaon at first for his greed because Sunah's general plan started earlier than Yohan's and Gaon parent's tragedy happened just 3 years before the church accident, it's not that far apart because there's no way Sunah only know of Gaon's existence when he's graduating from law school. I wouldn't say Soohyun groomed him but she definitely did also kind of manipulate him by limiting him to this "kind sweet upright" person and not acknowledging his... Pain? But then Gaon is just being manipulated by everyone because he's constantly lost between wanting to be his old real self or be the person that Soohyun and the professor likes because he doesn't want to lose them. Everyone's just coloured in different shades of grey including Soohyun(surprisingly Jinjoo the female judge is the one who's fits "perfectly upright" the most among them all, she's has her own share of ambitious to want to do well in her job and be seen be awarded for it which is normal, everyone's working wishing for good results and promotions. She's ambitious but also never for once actually bend the law or lie for their benefit while knowing it's a lie. Funny how she's put as a contrast to Soohyun who's not really ambitious for promotion in her job or life but has done questionable stuff like lying under oath for Gaon and also lying to keep Gaon to herself? There's no way she doesn't know Yohan is hurt during the only phone call they had, she's a police and if she couldn't at all recognise someone's in pain when they're not even hiding the pained noises she's a crap cop honestly), some use it for their own greed and harm others, some use it to do good for themselves and others. (I use the word grooming for Gaon's situation as in without any form of sexual, I can't find a word that really fits what I want to say and grooming simply fits it the best, was thinking of manipulative but that was a bit of a not as strong word for it)

This ep is about making judge Kim realize the most blatant truth about his world , it is DYSTOPIAN, meaning as dysfunctional as it can get ,you can't expect to live by the rules and law strictly in such a lawless world ,when every body else doesn't, you just laying down waiting to lose and be stepped on , I am sorry but kang yo han for now is more fit for this fight even if his vengeful motivations are wrong ,his ways are more effective and borderline " righteous " considering the low victim counts of his strategies till now

You can't win the game and bring down the corrupted power by playing fair, the law is set by the corrupted power and them not following it just says about how much of it is simply put in place used to restrict the poor/naive/normal people. To drag down those corrupted power you have to not be a totally law abiding person and despise power, that'll only be used against you. Yohan saying that a court is a unfair game where if you can't prove yourself you'll lose is actually very correct even in reality. You need evidence to prove, even if you're in the right, a lack of evidence and ways to get it though will still easily paint you as the wrong. Whoever gets to present all their evident well be it real or fabricated nicely will win.
