Very enjoyable detective story set in a highly specialised world. Great fun, and beautifully articulate voice acting.

I agree with your comment. It’s awfully nice of you to recognize that the physical compiling, uploading etc IS time consuming, albeit a labor of love. I think perpetuating the art form in this digital age is important. So sad to see the very genre of radio play fade away. Nice to know there are folk like you that still care. 🙏🏾
Thank-you for the great plays, much, much better than television xx

It's the early 1960s at the offices of "Style", a fashion magazine. The staff has just returned from a trip to France to see the revealing of the Paris collection to be reported on in the magazine. Everyone has worked overtime to get the layouts ready to be published and are on their way for a celebratory drink. What they find in the morning is....murder!

How old are you and what country do you live in to never heard phrase dirty weekend.
I am understanding that the stories, must range. This is the second, out of the many I have listened to, where I will not need to listen again. 🎭 😭
What Me the amature sleuth in some cases but I tried to figure out who done it Got stuck. Got a bit lost in this drama who dunnit didn't quite get the plot had to listen to this four times bit of a puzzle to sort out on first listening list of suspects good case for Perry mason to sort out

I often have difficulties sorting out who's who regarding various characters but usually muddle through happily. This story had me totally confused towards the end. I was about to listen a 2nd time but thought best just start a different story! I still very much enjoyed it tho. Hi from Oz. 👇💜🙃
Does anyone think this audio has been sped up??? Not complaining, I often speed up audio myself using KZread's playback speed control.
❤
HUH? at 30:40 the photog says that it was possible the the murdered girl was pregnant by him then at 32:10 the pathologist says she was a virgin. Either the photog or the Dr seems not to know how sex works.

Could be part of the intended plot?

He didn't agree it was possible, he agreed there was no point denying it was possible. I took that as meaning no one will believe him now, even tho its not true. I was a little confused by this story, esp the last part, the "reveal". Hi from Oz! 👇💜🙃
Is free?
If anyone can explain the plot of this they deserve Life membership of Mensa ! It's interesting as a picture of a more civilised England . ...now long gone . Or perhaps it never really existed. ? If not....then it should have !!
Fantastic...then the dogs bark. Why? Its not like it's important to the story. 💞
Too many characters... kind of confusing :/
