@andrew097 Nice to see a fair post for once on these vids :). Leinster have upped their game alot and Munster have dropped a fair bit. Besides, Munster were starting to get complacent. The problem is that there isnt alot of young players at the moment, Kidney did coach the ol' faithfuls well, and won 2 heineken cups with the same team, but he didnt bring through many young players, so as a result, Munster are going through a bit of a dry period.

@TheHumanGay Good Spirit went out the window the second the RDS crowd started chanting 'Easy! Easy! Easy' at Dennis Leamy when he went off with a broken shoulder in the RDS last year. True Rugby fans my hole!

Am I the only one to think that ROG seems a lot more assured after being dropped to bench for Ireland? He's providing an assuring cover for Sexton.

@TheHumanGay I have to make the observation, being a Munster native teaching in a Dublin rugby school...... it seems that there is indeed such a thing as a ''sore winner''. An observation made by one of my students. Maybe, in light of winning, you may find some scraps of grace to cover the tarnish of your newly-acquired and ill-fiitting ''love'' of rugby. It seems, most evidently, that you define Leinster's recent success in terms of where they stand viz-á-vis Munster. >>>

Still cant believe we have beaten Munster four times in a year . Just as I couldnt believe that Munster would do that to Leinster. But at some time in the future we will suffer a little for this. PS I wonder if Munster fans are asking about the coaching ticket. I couldnt see D. Kidney would be letting that happen.

@TheHumanGay It was only 12 months previous that Munster beat Leinster 18- 0 in the RDS and 22 - 5 in Thomond Park. Remember that? Probably not cos u only realised u follow Leinster coincidentally at the same time they won the cup!

Sorry...one other thing :) ..... I've never heard a Galway man complain about the Fields of Athenry being sung by Munster supporters. Let me explain why: Munster, like Connaught, like most parts of Ireland identify that song as Irish in general. Romantic, stirring, uplifting and very eerie to the opposition. A song of love but also defiance. And because Munster have always enjoyed support from all areas of Ireland, it is appropriate... Including dublin. :) Take care children.

@howsthingslads We? Is that what you do with your mates? Fair enough then, you got the mong impression down to a tee. Good man, thanks for reminding me I think I'll hang on to last year's scarf though! :p

@andrew097 It does open up the country to rugby a bit more, but the trade off is that younger generations will start to view rugby as a socceresque sport, where there is no emotional tie to a club, rather only the amount of money spent on each club. I think this is one of the worst moves in regards to Irish rugby, and the sooner Minister Ryan, who went to my school, gets fucked out, the better.

Furthermore, calling people ''tinkers'' is not only inaccurate, but further questions you 'gentlemens' idea of rugby, or indeed, sport in general. As for Munster, you will never find that the reverse is true. A culture that builds on its OWN success, and not the bitter rantings of transcient success and jealousy, is the one that endures. The two biggest selling jerseys in New Zealand : All Black & Munster. THAT'S success. I could go on, but .... only this. A Storm is coming.

@mrfloppyjoe Why is is that that song as sung by Munster fans only upsets Dublin shoneens, not Galway people?.Is it because its an unoffical Irish anthem, and Munster are the unofficial Irish team in Europe, and "Leinster" are just west-Brits who most real Irish people either don't like or don't care about?. Glad to see you have a smidgin of knowledge of Irish geography however, it might help you if you ever go outside southside Dublin and meet Irish people.

@LiamMacSuibhne That isn't "success". Success in sport is about winning games, not corporate activities, money or selling jerseys. What a very un-Munster, wealth centred attitude you have towards measuring success in rugby! I go by results...and Leinster have won five in a row against Munster :)

@jonconlon Not anywhere near as amusing as your hangup about Munster. You know as well as I that Munster are the de-facto Irish representative team in European competition , and until Connacht qualify for the Heineken, will remain the only one in the hearts and minds of the Irish people.

Do fans of these two franchises actually support real clubs as well? These two are pro era creations with no history as non representative clubs at all.
