Don’t ever stop showcasing the high-end stuff, Jay! I’ll bet that I’m speaking for many of us when I type that I own (and can only afford) the lower-end and mid-fi gear, and your channel is one of the only ways I will ever get to even SEE some of this stuff. Shoots, it would take me at least five years of savings to buy even one piece of the six-figure gear we see on your channel. We live vicariously through you! Liked and subscribed as always 👍

One of the biggest reasons I'm a subscriber to this channel is ultra high-end audio which is rare on KZread and on pretty much everywhere. And ultra high-end audio includes also cables - FACT. So people stop complaining about them.

well done Jay....i probably will never be able to afford 99.9% of the things you cover....and somehow i get just as much enjoyment as if i could!...thanx for letting me experience Munich...peace

You can do it!

I transitioned from "like" to "love" the minute you entered that fantastic audio show. There's so much for the eyes and ears that I feel like a totally overwhelmed kid on Christmas morning! I'm going to make some moves and rearrange a few things so that I can be there in 2025. Jay, thank you for this great presentation!

Your coverage is much appreciated - with you as the proxy I'm much closer to being at the show than I could othewise manage. I seem to recall when I last went to a show (several decades ago!), I was absolutely dead on my legs/a bit shell-shocked/in awe of the kit I heard back then (Revel, Levinson, Kingsound, Krell, etc)! So, on behalf of (at least) my legs a big "CHEERS" for doing the leg work and letting viewers sample at least some of the magic!

Loved it Jay. Iam an unashamedly big fan of yours. And judging by the warm reception you got from fellow visitors and presenters at the show, Iam probably not alone in my admiration. I especially like how you add your take on the components once you've seen or heard them, like your brief comments on the new Wilson watt puppy's. Knowing the context helps understand their importance. And you have experience at that level, unlike a lot of other channels. So your impressions in the context of your exposure and experience, makes it all the more interesting for me. All the very best and please keep the excellent work going. This is probably the closest I will ever get to mega buck kit like this. But we are all allowed to drool and dream right :)

Vivid Audio isn't doing their flagship speaker any favors being driven by the Mola Mola power amps. You can clearly hear the Class D amplification characteristics limiting their performance particularly by the lack of refinement in the high frequencies.

I was impressed by several systems in this year’s MUNICH HiEnd, BUT the majority did not reflect their true worth, as if the final price was decided by accountants and only fit for Oligarchs!

Mola Mola perka is no way anything close to what you say class D. It's a brilliant amp and with the vivid it's a super combination

Hey Jay, the Burmester speaker's tweeter is an AMT not a ribbon tweeter. Did you mean a lot of the new speakers are using AMTs? Also I knew you were kidding about the Lambo because I bet you couldnt get your right leg in that thing.

The Gauder Akustik Darc you saw is 750 000 euros and has the biggest diamond driver (90 mm midrange).... (all drivers are from Accuton i think) and made of single aluminum ribs with time alignment crossover. Guess you should listen to them and tell us.

Fantastic audio gears👍🤚……..

We were at the High End of Munich 2024 and here is an example of a completely stupid installation. The French brand "TOTALDAC" installation which costs more than 250,000€ whose ratio/quality/price/manufacturing/finishing/performance is very mediocre. The pair of speakers is neither more nor less a JBL and/or Klipsch RF7 type....etc but at €70,000 per pair, the stupidity has no limits! It's a race for money and pigeons! These kinds of pseudo manufacturers will completely discredit hi-fi in the medium term. But in addition the ridiculousness does not kill, the presentation and rigor is totally to be reviewed "product labels made to pieces, acoustic panels thrown on the walls.......etc"... Not at all at all level of a High End salon! If the manufacturing of these totally “OVER-PRICE” products are manufactured with this rigor?! I say: long live made in France (irony)🤐
