She's a better singer than Florence Welch by a country mile 👍love also in some songs she has a slightly celtic edge to her vocals - like in So Special - I guess maybe some Irish background there or Cranberries fans maybe?

I am so moved by so many of Muna's songs. I'm a 66 year old man and their lyrics touch my heart and my circumstances.
They're 100% right, life IS so fun.
Oh my god I got full on goosebumps when that 3-part harmony came in on Kind of Girl
Acoustic album please!! I wanted to rewatch this before I even finished it.

you might already know this but just in case, they’ve released acoustic versions of three songs from about u!!
I love this band so much it ain’t even funny, I’m a 37 year old straight masculine dude who loves everyone the same. This music really speaks to everyone including me, and I hope they know how much of a fan I’ve been since 2019
I'm late to this party but I'm ALL IN now.
Love that they also have a slightly country folk edge to them as well as the shiny 80's synths
They opened for my Taylor Swift show in Chicago this past Sunday and I've been obsessed ever since. The range of genres they can pull off is incredible, and I'll definitely be seeing them in concert again for a headline show in the future. ❤❤
I’d love to see a collaboration between Katie & Scotland’s Eddi Reader, both of Irish heritage and phenomenal singers. Straight old lady married for 42 years here but I love these young women & their shared & complementary talents. Love is love x
Katie serving vocals and lyricism and icon energy as always 🙏🏽
Watching this as an apppetizer before seeing them tonight and it only just confirms that they are truly incredible musicians and people ❤
muna are fucking incredible. katie seemed so sad during some of the songs though :(
Give this interviewer a raise
I would sell my kidney for an acoustic muna album
it's soooooo cool to hear them all acoustic like this
Correct me if I’m wrong but they would fit so well on the cast of a league of their own ❤️
This is such a good, raw, stripped down version of these few songs! I love Muna so much!
The new album is soooo good. Every single song is a gem. Can’t wait to see them in Philly and am very grateful that they are willing to perform live. Take all your vitamins, MUNA, and know that we so much appreciate you! 🔥🌈💕
Wow! Just wow! Muna is tragically underrated. So wildly talented. 👌🔥
I love Muna like I love life on Earth, with all my heart.
They really reminded of The Corrs. Love the vocals so much
Saw Muna for the first time at the Taylor Swift concert in Dallas. Absolutely amazing live. 😊👍

They continue to be the amazing stars that they are!! My favorite band ever!!❤️
Beautiful performance, anything but me is my favorite song and hearing it acoustic was so amazing.
Ughhh they sound so good
Love this band. Cool to hear the songs stripped down.
I was never rlly into them but this acoustic set convinced me
Oh my goodness I love this version so much
Actively crying while writing this and listening to Kind of Girl. The three part harmonies gave me goosebumps 😭

They are girls NOT guys. DUH! Why do people use the term guys for both sexes? Isn't that so shallow and disrepectful?
Love these grrls ❤️
Though I'm always not so much fan of electronic music, I nevertheless like this band and enjoy the acoustic set even more, where my alt-folk-soul gets what it needs with that wonderful harmonics 🎶🎵☀️✨
Muna should release an acoustic album
see you in Liverpool 23-8-2023

Can we get a Muna country album?
Broke my heart in the best kind of ways and made me feel guilty for wanting the beautiful evil grrr who betrayed me, and still had it in her cold calculator heart to blame and accuse me of the things she did, I am still not over the evil sadistic nurse, thank you muna for making me question my stupid first impulses, it started with everything but me,,,now, apparently, it is just me,,,and your music, again,, thank you, goddess bless

Katie is really pitchy on Silk Chiffon. Naomi is the heart and brains of this band.
@EyeGlassTrainofMind
Жыл бұрын
I think all of them are integral to MUNA. Naomi is amazing but it wouldn't be MUNA fundamentally without each of them. I heard the pitchiness there, too, but I'm thinking it might also be that she warmed up her lower register with the prior two songs which might have made the high-focused Silk Chiffon more difficult to do. I've found this happens to me when I sing--If I'm singing in one general part of my range, it can be really difficult to switch w/o a rest and re-warm up for another.
Like how many times can you say "LIKE" in an interview? Start counting ...
