for me its a super wholesome moment and really shows what a cinamon roll superman its, the game has him with a cocky demeanor, even without saying something overly cocky like "this would be a fine warmup" he fights this scrawny guy that turns out its immensely powerfull and its not ashamed to admit that he found the fight hard, really good characterization

Well he has to intentionally hold back against literally everyone else, even if a lot of them use magic. None are really powerful enough to leave nothing more than something that'll be sore the next morning. Batman might try to put Superman on the ropes, but without kryptonite, he can't really win. Shaggy, on the other hand, well... he's powered by so much magic, that he actually can hold his own quite well.

I mean. Taz acknowledged Shaggy had immense power before and after the fight essentially saying "it's gonna take more than your Sandwiches to best me", mostly while being a nod to his projectile which is a sandwich but also a hint that his saiyan powers come from said sandwiches

I like how, realistically, in terms of canonical power levels, the only characters in this game to (so far) rival Superman are Bugs Bunny due to slapstick physics, and Shaggy.

He has to use more of his power then currently because he trains to use in more efficiently. He collected characters from different universes to train from their experiences

I love how Warner Bros just embraced Ultra Instinct Shaggy with open arms and did it in a way that still stays faithful to the original character. The only way this could get better is if Shaggy with Scooby as an assist were in Injustice 3, because let's be honest Shaggy likely wouldn't get into Mortal Kombat outside of the "Get over here man" thing.

I was also hoping for them to acknowledge their previous crossovers. Maybe Shaggy or Velma could've asked Batman how Robin is doing, so he tells them that he's grown up and fighting crime on his own as Nightwing these days (or he could just be like, "Which one?"). Or something like that.

This is what I love about MultiVersus. The attention to detail given to the idea of a crossover like this is unmatched. Not even Smash Bros has the characters talking shit to each other mid-match. They even make comments about where they're fighting! I fucking love this!
