I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant with dizygotic twins after a single embryo transfer. After years of trying and multiple doctors saying that we won’t be able to ever conceive naturally. So we have one IVF baby plus one natural baby = 2 miracle babies 🥰

I was 39 when I got pregnant with my twins (DCDA or DiDi). I got my boy and girl with one pregnancy. A lot of people think this is amazing (which, it is) and it’s like “Ah two for the price of one!” Etc. (Ugh… no! Two for the price of TWO!) 😂 They are incredible, however they were born at 30 weeks gestation and spent a lot of time on nicu and special care (australia). They are fine now at 15 months old, but it was so HARD!! And yes, for the millionth time…. I DO have my hands (and my heart) full.

I’m currently 12 weeks with twins following my first double embryo transfer in January. It’s super uncommon in the UK for clinics to even allow a double transfer, but my clinic seemed to encourage it and even froze our 7 embryos in 3 pairs plus one lonely one of lesser quality - without prior consultation. I’m 26 too so seems bizarre! So we were forced to transfer both or let one perish as it likely wouldn’t have survived the thaw and another freeze. Crossing everything that all ends up being well with them, thanks for the informative video 💞

Wow... I'm actually going through IVF right now and i had no idea the risks of twins was just generally higher as a result of IVF. And i read ALL of the of l paperwork and watched all the modules. This is because the assumption was that this was directly related to transferring more than one embryo at once ...i didn't realize that each individual embryo was at a higher risk of splitting!

Hello. I'm considering Clomid (or its alternative). Advanced maternal age, I've had three miscarriages in just over a year. At 41, in Feb of this year at 42 and a few days ago in April at 43. At this point, I just want ONE healthy baby. If I use a medicine such as Clomid, is there any way to avoid twins? I wouldn't be using IVF (I don't think Clomid is considered IVF), just taking the medicine in hopes that one of the multiple eggs that comes will be the right one.

So love all of your videos, any advice for poor responders with low AMH who medical professionals say they can’t “help” but to keep trying naturally? Are there any viable homeopathic options to help to regulate a monthly cycle? I’m sure there are other woman out there in a similar situation.

I'm currently on my first cycle of letrozole and have 2 matured eggs (one on each ovary). The doctor didn’t recommend we have twins because I'm only 23 and it's a lot to take in but I don’t know what to do tbh. There’s a chance of both being fertilized and implantated, or only 1 or even neither of them... (I have pcos)

I would love more information about what you said at 9:58 I am so thankful to have this tidbit of information (about trending away from injectables for ovulation induction, and if oral medication is unsuccessful that the newer standard recommendation is to go straight to IVF). I am at the start of my fertility treatment & this will be our first month trying with assistance from a fertility specialist. I was offered by my doctor to choose between oral meds or injectables plus timed intercourse since our only issue seems to be diminished ovarian reserve. I was leaning towards trying Clomid first anyway & now after learning more over the past couple of weeks including this video, my decision is made. I'm so thankful for your channel while simultaneously a little disappointed my doc was actually pushing for injectables with timed intercourse or IUI... makes me wonder if she's as up to date on newer research & techniques as you are... But this is the beauty of having resources like you on the internet!!

I just lost one of my twins (at 10 weeks pregnant). I'm 47 years old, and these twins occurred without fertility treatments. It was possibly genetic why I miscarried one baby. It's still early, so I've been advised that I could lose the other. My question --- given my age, what type of fertility treatments should I look into if this pregnancy doesn't make it. Thank you.

Dr. Crawford: my hubby is half-Japanese, so I’m wondering if my chances of having twins are even lower than I though? Or do they think that’s more related to Japanese women rather than the man? We have a 16 month old daughter (naturally conceived) & I’m 33. We’re hoping to have two more babies and I would love a two-for so I only have to be pregnant one more time. 😂 But now I’m thinking that’s probably less likely unless we need to do IVF and the risks are higher than I thought.

Twins have nothing to do with the father, even if he comes from a family of multiple multiples. It all has to do with the woman. Did she hyper-ovulate and release more than one egg? Did mom’s egg split? It comes down to the egg, not the sperm.

If I get IVF could my child have a monkey DNA in them. That's what my mom was telling me. And she also said that it is only for married people and you could have multiple kids at the same time and that it was not natural. If I get IVF I well ask God to make me have Twins.❤✝️🙏🏽🧕🏽😇. Hopefully it is not a sperm from a murder or something😬😭.
