Does it matter which LT contract is moved as long as they are moved for something & cap flexibility?
With all of these 3rd and 4th liners in the system now it's time to pull Rust off the PK. Hopefully that helps him stay a little more healthy. He is talented and I think he can be a consistent top 6 wingers with Sid if he can stay healthy
I would say Rust's days are done. As soon as he is able to be traded, he will be gone.

he would've been a 40+ goal scorer last season if he didn't have two injury stints. No way he is "done".

If they trade Rust, I hope they do him right and send him to a contender(even if it's once his NTC is over) Slight edit

Agreed. Patterson might be a defect d man but even he's soft. We need some big Dmen that aren't afraid to throw the body

Trade Ryan Graves to the Avs for Valeri Nichushkin. Re sign Marcus Pettersson. Or trade Marcus Pettersson to the Oilers for Philip Broberg at the trade deadline. Get younger. Rickard Rackell sucks, nobody will ever trade for a Hextall signing.
