As a mixed-race couple, we use four languages (Greek, Filipino or Tagalog, French and English) in our everyday lives. Kyriakos comes from Greece, and Marlene is from the Philippines. We are based in France, and our medium language is English.
We are obliged to learn all these languages to communicate with our families and friends.
