You should try for a second language! Learning a new language is a big task, but little improvements every day can go a long way, plus you get exposed to a totally new culture and way of life, not to mention so much new music, movies, literature, and shows! I am nowhere near an expert in language learning, but if you're interested, I definitely suggest you check out language learning and see if its interesting to you!

Draga's German is absolutely perfect, no surprise being born and raised in Vienna. She has a strong Austrian accent, especially when she said "es ist ur-cute" ("it's so cute"),... using "ur" as "very" is stereotypical of Viennese slang. 🤣 But even Ana, though clearly being less versed, hardly made any mistakes in german - Impressive! I've learned 3 years portuguese, but her german is better than my portuguese.

I didn’t say it was unexplainable. I have lived in Alsace most of my life and in my experience, although there are many bilingual people here, those without a trace of an accent in both French and German are very rare. As for polyglots in general, they usually are quite capable of mastering multiple languages reasonably well but to pronounce all (or most) of them correctly isn’t commonplace at all. They usually retain a strong native accent from their mother tongue. This has to do with the ability to “hear” which is distinct from the ability to “speak”

I loved watching this! What the Brazilian girl said about how one language can start to take over another--that's what happens with me! I can start trying to practice talking in Spanish around the house, and before you know it, I'm remembering German or French words😆, and blurt them out instead! This is very encouraging for me to continue practicing the several languages I've been learning over the years. Thanks to both of you!🥰

Seeing and hearing polyglots speak to one another always amazes me! I've always been interested in cultures and languages and i studied those in college. It has always been my dream to speak multiple languages. I am not as good as them, but i take great pride at learning 5 different languages so far. I am fluent in 3, intermediate in one and beginner in the other. So fascinating and inspiring! ❤

I also know some Spanish and being able to speak other languages really opens doors for human connection. Would't go to for instance South America and expect people to know English. That's just rude.
