Dan and his son Cody have put together easily one of the best collections of bucks that we have ever filmed called the 45 mile collection. Almost every single whitetail in this collection was taken either on dans property, or within 45 miles of his Southeastern Kansas home! Included in the collection are multiple 200" bucks, as well as a whole group of racks deemed as "too small for the wall" that most people would mount in a heart beat. Kinda ridiculous honestly. Nowhere in the country is a 167” small. I mean just pile of euro 160’s. Elitist attitudes.

Kind of dumb I think any mature deer is worthy of being mounted the deer in my pic is right under pope and young but that doesn't matter to me I didn't even score it until a year later it's all about respecting each animal you harvest

16:00 - 'Cactus Jack' not big enough to make the wall apparently. Wow. Such shame. But what he lacked in size he made up for it in character. That was one cool looking rack, very gnarly & unique. I think he deserved to be seen & appreciated - i would put it up even as a deadhead. But that's just me.

Dan, really liked this video. Just so you know, 65 is not old. At 70 I still think I could pull the bow at least one last time. Great to see Cody take on the legacy.

Had a 180” outside of Laurenburg in 2017 on camera. Ole swamp donkey, they are in NC just have to find em. Never could get a shot but amazing

Not all of these episodes can be great….buying deer heads from others but a 160 isn’t a big one…. Ok….
