Exactly! I always had the experience that when I go through a group of foreigners, and say "Hi! I'm learning your language", in their language , they usually get so impressed and start a conversation and so on. But once when I firstly met a group of German tourists, and did the same thing, they were just looking at me like "okay ... ??? " 😅 and I had no idea what to say 😅 Thanks for the video! :)

I usually find Germans, Italians and Quebec French speakers not very friendly in my travels.

LOL for Turkish pronunciation. 😂 I don't know why, but I don't have any troubles while pronouncing Turkish words. i think it show the economic power disbalance between countries, how the inhabitants of one country react to a foreigner speaking their language. I´m Austrian, which is culturally and economically similar to Germany, and it´s not special if someone learnes German as a sencond or third language. Because many people from all neighbouring states learn German due to work opportunities, or even at school. Whereas I know 3people who are Austrians who learned Slowenian or Hunagrian. I think the reaction one gets, as a foreigner to learning a language of a non-dominanting culture is so special, cause it´s seen as rare. And especially if itßs a white person learning this language of a "minority" group. it reflect the global power disbalances.

en general, el turco y el español son lenguas muy diferentes. aprender turco requerirá un esfuerzo importante, pero también será una experiencia increíble :)
