Multicultural Indian-Fusion Wedding at The Palmer House Chicago
Michigan Avenue Events was honored to plan Shailee & David’s multicultural, Indian-Fusion wedding nominated Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago Diamond Wedding Awards. Their unique celebration was an adventure from start to finish with four (yes... FOUR) major transitions happening in one gorgeous day! Beginning with our couple’s heartfelt original vows during their morning Christian ceremony (Shailee wearing her grandmother’s gown✨), to the rain breaking & the sun finally coming out for their baraat as we shut down Adams + Wabash Streets (with many passers by joining to dance in the streets!), to their deeply reverent Indian ceremony in the afternoon, and their grand finale reception in the Grand Ballroom✨ I will be forever thankful to Shailee, David & their families for entrusting MAE and allowing us to lead the exquisite yet complex logistics alongside a fabulous team of partners showcasing our passion for wedding planning and intrinsic knowledge of multicultural wedding details. Thank you for recognizing our work Modern Luxury and we invite you into a few more special moments from the day✨

This is not an Indian wedding, but as American as an apple pie, beef steak and ox-tail soup. Please stop calling it Indian.
