Multi Vocal Parallel Compression

Музыка

Advanced techniques are a dime a dozen. But if you find one that works with your workflow then take it full throttle. It could literally change the way you mix. Not only that, compression is a hard technique to master. Master both of these and you're on your way to be a full blown engineer. Native Instrument's compressors are a really good way to learn compression since they've sampled almost all of the overused models.
Tip
Each one of these compressors are perfect for handling any situation. If you have all of these models from any developer then you've pretty much covered all of your bases as far as compression goes.

good tutorial mate be consistent and you'll thrive, the native instrument compressor are not that accurate and they aliases so i will recommend you to get dmg trackcomp 2 which emulate all of these compressors but is identical to the hardware.

Thanks for the insight. Aliasing is not the end all be all of everything. Many plugins contain aliasing, especially at inaudible levels but CPU hits, workflow, GUI, dealing with multiple companies, etc. play a more important role to me. Besides, I can’t give up that VC 2A 😫

@@MellowXBrew bro trust me i wouldn't never recommend you something that's not top notch you get like 6 vintage compressor in one plugin and they're high quality, sound quality is more important than fancy gui but it also it has a cool gui, if you need help on knowing what plugins that don't aliases to choose from then ask me. I've been the same thinking their the best but when i compared them to a lot of competitor they got beat out badly. as a start check out this plugin then after i will give you a list of every high quality plugin that doesn't aliases and are also top tier for production.

@@aviatedviewssound4798 I understand. I’ve seen and read about trackcomp and the whole DMG lineup. I’ll check it out but sound quality isn’t everything when mixing. If that’s the case all of the old records from the 70s to 2000s aren’t worth mentioning.

@@MellowXBrew all the marketing you see sometimes producer doesn't even use the plugin emulation they advertise for they work in a hybrid environment if the plugin is close to the hardware they will use the plugin but if not they'll use their hardware but most of the time brands like waves are used for their digital plugins because more people had moved to uad but we don't have to anymore since native has come a long way to have the highest quality tools we need. ask me anything bro my email: jamssaint@gmail.com and i'll guide you on what to buy.

@@MellowXBrew If aliasing is an issue for these plugs then you could engage oversampling if they have the feature available. If not, you could try running your session at a higher sample rate like 88.2 or 96khz. Depends on if your CPU can handle the increase. Failing that you could use a wrapper plugin like Metaplugin which has oversampling built in if the Native Instruments don't have OS. Other than that, i wouldn't worry much about aliasing, i could imagine that the 1176 and 160 would be the ones most likely to alias as they saturate at fast attack and release speeds and its not like you are using shedloads of these compressors all over your mix where the aliasing could build up.
