Im so glad they posted this! I took a test yesterday, and this happened to me. I was very concerned that my healthcare provider would think I had used a substance. Thank God they were aware that this happens occasionally. Thanks for posting!

During a pre-employment test I've had a lab tell me that I had a non-negative result for THC because of the faint line and would have to be verified by the lab. The lab test came back negative, but as you could imagine....I was sure I was sunk. Easiest thing to do during a job search is to quit earlier than you think you need to. Otherwise, a really good job offer can go bye bye very quick.

From what I understand its how many ng/ml. Some at home tests, test for 15 ng/ml. I've heard some labs test for 50 ng/ml.

So if someone is clean and not on any drugs there should be dark black lines on top and bottom all the way across? If there is no line then a drug was detected?

My Dr tests me because I'm on adhd meds. I had very faint lines and the PA said it "wasn't negative enough." He tried to tell me I couldn't get my prescription and flagged my file for illicit drug use. The Dr overroad his decision & gave me my prescription anyway, after I took photos with my phone & threatened to sue, but never admitted that the PA was wrong. I hope they fired him.

Its negative. There is a higher likelihood of a false positive than a false negative. Which is why when testing for a job, if it comes up positive, they send it out to another lab for a second opinion. If you are negative, then they don't send it out to another lab. If its positive, you'll probably get a call within 3 days after you originally whizzed. Lol. Hope this helps.

So i have tested positive forthc and. Was given a chance to retest, now its a faint light light light line like where you have to squint to see it

Just did an 8 panel for a job. I took t3s that was presceibed the night before for the test. The t3s showed up in the test she said everything else passed but they have to send to lab for the t3s . She said my thc line was faint but she could see it and didnt declare it to be positive. Will they retest for everything now or just what was originally positive?

The THC test line seems to always be faint. Why is that?

Because THC is the most sensitive of all the tests. Meth heads are clear in 72 hours while eating too many poppy seed bagels can make you fail a 15ng THC test

someone should really come up with a way or drug or drink to get rid of thc out of your system fast. like 3 days fast. billion dollar ideal. this will boost cannibas by a 1m

If that existed, it would make a lot of money for people trying to lose weight fast. THC is stored in fat. You can mask it for a few hours but not complete remove it from your body that quickly, unless you smoked one hit from a joint of low thc weed, then it will be out within a week unless you have a lot of body fat.

I work at a drug treatment center.. And i tell you this.. using these 5-panel tests, results may vary from 5 mins to an Hour.. ( Meaning i've tested people and they've came up positive, only for 15 minutes later their negative )..

Test are not supposed to be read after the time indicated in the package insert. Do not read after that because results after that point are invalid. true for any kit test.

Even if the line is super faint its still a negative, only when there is no line at all is it a non negative EDIT: it may just be a bad print of ink or whatever when it was manufactured

Why would a faint line show up - if I have not used any benzo’s at all? I had a UA while picking up my suboxone and (after approaching 7mo sober) the girl said there was a “faint line for benzos..” I have absolutely NOT used a single thing in near 7mos. My history of use WAS benzos and opiates. So I’m freaking out. I absolutely CANNOT have this happen. So ironically, 1 day before my court case closes. So odd! Is it possible: .. if I were to touch/use an old fanny pack - that I used to store my Xanax and heroin in- would contact onto my fingertips or transfer onto my electronic cigarette to my mouth, result in this faint line?

They will accept it. If I see that line like that I'd be happy as heck. I just tested myself with oncore test just thc. did exactly what directions said. And the line is negative line is barely barely there. I'm not happy with it. I need to be more clean to be convinced. reply back for any questions. I have a drug test on the 11-20-15 I stopped 11-2-15 and I tested myself 11-13-15 with diluted urine and used midstream pee. I have a detox drink though.. I'm quitting smoking for good after this job fuck it. They do randoms in the damn building. There is no way getting around it except if you carry fake pee or clean pee on you every damn day

+leaddispenser9 I have the same issue. I quit smoking 11-2-15 and I have a very very faint line showing and I was very worried. In fact I am choosing to go in for this open interview tomorrow instead f today because I am not sure. I compared my line to someone who was absolutely negative. I want to compare my test to someone who is for sure positive so I can compare my line to their test so I know if thats just how the paper looks when its wet or if I am actually negative.

+Jovi Girl well I used synthetic urine. I didn't trust the detox drinks and diluting the urine. it's a 100% pass method. message back for a really good tip.. I have to go to work. And it's a lot to type lol have a good day!
