I don't think I could ask for a more in-depth tutorial than this. And really well level matched too. Given me a lot of tips for using it on busses. 🤘🤘
Probably your best video, Bob is an amazing mixer all of his examples are great and he always compensate the gain.
Bro got a calm spirit. Studio has good energy. Good teacher
Never downloaded something so fast in my life. The demo was perfect, great job!
Thank you so much for constantly taking the time to match levels, much appreciated!
Great overview. Bob, Thank you for taking the time to present this. Beautiful :) Thank you Plugin Alliance :)

Thank you so much!
This sounds really nice, great character and unique way of dailing it in.
Just tried it today on a mix and what i love it's very subtile ! Perfect to add a little touch on each intrument
Huge thanks for this video!
Tried it with a recent mix, sounds great, even on the master buss, but it's a strange name, I told a colleague that my music went through an oven. He looked like me like, what does he say now to me. And then he was enthusiast as well 😅
ITS REALLY WORKED LOL THANK YOU DUDE
Great explanation. Love the Funko’s
really appreciate this
Bob!! Great stuff, bro! : )
I love this plugin. Since I got it I never master without it. And yes, you can use it anywhere in the mix bus. This video was great showcasing where you can use it....

Much appreciated. Thanks for the awesome feedback!
The playthrough video has subtitles, but not the two tutorial videos. Well done. 🎉
Sick plugin. ALso side note: imagine being an award winning audio engineer and using one of those god forsaken apple mice
This looks great. Can't wait to break it in... Sounds like my kind of plugin! I think its designed for a heavy handed old timer..

Real nice looking setup…
Thanks for doing the demo - this was really helpful. Love the steampunk keyboard and old-school Apple mouse. Can I ask what brand/model keyboard that is?
Just grabbed this gem for 25$, what a steal!

I love your keyboard..
A very helpful tutorial. Thank you! 🍀 I'm a recording nerd and I want my mixes to sound good. Such plugins make a good sound even more noble, without question. But the differences are often quite subtle, even if a "trained ear" listens with full concentration via headphones. The general consumption of music has changed a lot in the last few or many years. How do most music lovers listen to music these days? My personal impression is that most people listen to the music on their cell phone, via bluetooth and headphones. And in many cases, not highly concentrated on the music, but incidentally: in the gym, in the countryside while jogging, in the fitness studio on the treadmill, while cycling or on public transport on the way to work, or if you just go to walking around the city. And also: They are mostly MP3 files or similarly compressed formats. And we as mix and master enthusiasts are constantly thinking about how e.g. B. the mids sound a bit crisper or the sides sound a bit more transparent and so much more of the finest sound cosmetics. We invest a lot of time and heart and soul in teasing out more or less subtle subtleties, which I meanwhile ask myself whether the "normal music consumer" even notices, really registers?!? For the most part, I get the impression that we're doing this for ourselves. We can then say, "We've got a great mix, look how nicely this and that comes out now". And that's something. We and our colleagues can hear the difference, but I really, really doubt whether the said MP3 consumers will hear it that way. It became clear to me for the first time a few months ago when I remixed various titles, much better and clearer, and then almost every (!) "normal listener" asked, "What did you do there now, what and where did something change? I don't hear any difference at all..." (and they listened with full concentration, not just casually). Then I got thoughtful.

Bob!
Hey thanks for the demonstration. Looking forward to playing with this. I’m out here on the fringe by myself in home studio. Can some clue me in to the diamond jargon? What is it meant when he says a guitar part just did diamonds? Thanks
@brodietavares7200
Жыл бұрын
He's referring to the Nashville Number system used for charting songs. The basics of the system are that chord progressions are always a numerical progression making it easy (and extremely fast) to switch between chords rather than meticulously notate every note out in the chart. "Playing diamonds" simply means playing whole note strums beginning on the 1st beat of the bar. The notation symbol written on the chart for this strum pattern is a "diamond".

@@brodietavares7200 awesome 👏 thanks 🙏 Sounds great. I’ll look into the Nashville number system!
When you were messing with that sub bass towards the end I could hear a fluttering sound on the left side ..like a cracked speaker..dont know if that's good or bad...just noticed that
What's the difference between using this versus the BB HG-2 or the Vertigo VSM-3? Both are analog saturation.

this will not save you .....if you are not good at what you do then work on that first ...before you think that a plugin will be your savior....heard this through my Neve and burl b80 mothership ...this a very subtle effect...I will not be buying it
