What represents the Netherlands? What is Dutch these days? These questions were asked at the Dutch embassy in Hanoi, when they needed to choose an artist to represent the Netherlands at the EU music Festival in Vietnam. The surprise answer was Nani, an Israeli-Portuguese who lives in Amsterdam and writes songs in Ladino, an ancient Spanish-Jewish language that is a part of the Dutch heritage and represents Jewish culture in Amsterdam. "Multi Culti" follows Nani on her musical journey to Saigon and Hanoi and illustrates how an unlikely Dutch representative can unite people without boundaries, celebrating a Multi Cultural message.

Having been to Hanoi, I didn't expect to see you show up there. Funny 'Dutch' story. Not logical to me. Hoewel goed Nederlands. Voor het eerst dat ik het hoor. Moet ook wel eens. The better version of you: short hair, dark blue/orange cloths. And that white dress.
