Well he does, he gazes Scully every second lol. Every time he looks at her it seams like he's about o kiss her. But I agree it's an awesome scene, just simple and pure.

Doesn't he also climb a tree and asks Scully if the display of boyish agility impresses her? I want to say that was from Revelations? How can anyone not want to gaze at her.....seriously.

Scully was so patient with mulder that I almost can’t think as to why anyone hates her character.

The way huge basketball fan Mulder gives the "rock" up so he can watch Scully walk into the gym (his domain) towards him in a shorter than usual skirt is just fantastic. My guess is that look says sex is already happening. I think he actually cat called her in his mind. If he was hiding it before.....that cat is out of the bag. If Scully was my partner every time she walked towards me I'd stop and "gaze". So Mulder did the right thing.

In some versions of half-court play, in order to keep excellent shooters from simply dominating and thus every win coming down to who wins a pre-game coin-toss, you're required to take the ball inside the 3-point line, before then being able to take it out and shoot from there again. Likewise in some variations the person who starts with possession can't shoot, and is required to move the ball in/pass it before they can do anything else with it.
