Historically the title AL in greek Aramaic is pronounced "EL" it means Deity or "god" Modern Aramaic is an offshoot of greek Aramaic combined with other dialects from the time of Roman and greek Rule. Greek Aramaic used much of the original "Shemitic" language. They called the Almighty El, Eli, Ela, Elohym. Modern Aramaic later pronounced these titles Al, Ali, Allah, and Alahayam. However most Islamic teachers say it's the other way around and history disproves that. The name Fadi means "My Redeemer" so technically "Al Fadi" means "Elohim is my Redeemer" it is an ancestral name most likely passed down from his loved ones.
