[The Bible, Luke 11:20] (v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." [The Bible, John 5:30] Jesus never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus in the Gospel of Mathew: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." [The Bible, Mathew 5:17-20] 3. God Sent Jesus' The Bible mentions the prophetic nature of Jesus mission in the following verses: (i) "… and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me." [The Bible, John 14:24] (ii) "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent." [The Bible, John 17:3] 4. Jesus Refuted even the Remotest Suggestion of his Divinity. ✓ Consider the following incident mentioned in the Bible: "And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?’ And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ " [The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17] Jesus did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should believe in him as Almighty God or worship him as God, or believe that Jesus would die for his sins. On the contrary he said that the path to salvation was through keeping the commandments. It is indeed striking to note the difference between the words of Jesus Christ and the Christian dogma of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus. 5. Jesus of Nazareth - a Man Approved of God The following statement from the Bible supports that Jesus was a prophet of God. "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know." [The Bible, Acts 2:22] 6. The First Commandment is that God is One The Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus merely repeated what Moses had said earlier: "Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad." This is a Hebrew quotation, which means: "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." [The Bible, Mark 12:29] It is striking that the basic teachings of the Church such as Trinity and vicarious atonement find no mention in the Bible. In fact, various verses of the Bible point to Jesus’ actual mission, which was to fulfill the law revealed to Prophet Moses . Indeed Jesus rejected any suggestions that attributed divinity to him, and explained his miracles as the power of the One True God. Jesus thus reiterated the message of monotheism that was given by all earlier prophets of Almighty God. NOTE: All quotations of the Bible are taken from the King James Version. CONCEPT OF GOD IN OLD TESTAMENT: 1. God is One The following verse from the book of Deuteronomy contains an exhortation from Moses: "Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad". It is a Hebrew quotation which means: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" [The Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4] 2. [The Bible, Isaiah 46:9] 3. Old Testament condemns idol worship (i) Old Testament condemns idol worship in the following verses: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God." [The Bible, Exodus 20:3-5] (ii) A similar message is repeated in the book of Deuteronomy: "Thou shalt have none other gods before me." "Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that is in the water beneath the earth." "Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God." [The Bible, Deuteronomy 5:7-9]...

@Azlan Hashim I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah: - Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - And the witness of a women is worth only half of that of a man. (Surah 2:282). That is an insult to all women. So that is my problem with the many different Arabic quran we can all buy. And we should always remember all of Islam is only what Mohammed maybe recited and how he lived. Lets see what Jesus said: - Jesus teaches in John 14:6 English Standard Version » 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. « So who needs Mohammed and his allah? Logically no-one, especially as Mohammed does not explain how anyone gets to heaven following what he recited or how he lived.

Ayesha's father was rich enough to take care of all his children. She did not have to be adopted by another family. The marriage had a significance which non-believers would not understand. Ayesha was a special child. She was a child prodigy, with brilliant learning skills. There are sufficient other unrelated Hadeeth which show the Ayesha understated her age of marriage. In any event the Hadeeth can be set aside/overridden as it clearly contradicts the Quran which is the only authoritative source in Islam.

And of course some said the quran should have 111 surahs and some said that it should have 116 surahs. As all modern qurans have been corrupted to have 114 surahs did Muslims add surahs or did they delete them?

general jg . You are aware this is incorrect because I’ve seen commentators correct you many times - so you know you lie when you even post it. The Bible doesn’t give their exact ages, but we can know Mary was indeed a young, grown woman because this is how the angel Gabriel addresses her, as a woman. Conversely, in the book of Mark, a 12-year-old girl is referred to as still a mere child. In the book of Numbers, any Hebrew under the age of 20 was not to be counted as an adult, so we have the Hebrew precedent of an adult at age 20. Marriage in ancient Judaic culture required the bride to be old & mature enough to weigh any proposal and to decide whether to accept or reject, so again, an adult. Likewise, Joseph was without question a young man strong enough to withstand the travel and to be a defender & provider for Mary and the Christ child.

If you mean the book he shows and discusses at around 5 min, that is from Sahih Al-Bukhari, a collection of supposedly authentic (sahih) reports about the life of the cult founder. It is available on-line, and if you do a word search using a sentence from what you see on the screen, you should find one or more such websites with Sahih Al-Bukhari and other similar books.

@@annemurphy9339 - I think that is a right that Islam gives to females. It calls them "woman" when they are 6. That is their right in Islam. :-D

@Emily - Islam give right to women to carry child for 4 yrs before giving birth. Sharia. That is their right. Does any OTHER belief give women that right? I don't think so! :-D (Yes - that is sarcasm. But I use it in my dawah about Islam. :-D )

Sahih al-Bukhari 476 Narrated `Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) I had seen my parents following Islam since I attained the age of puberty. Not a day passed but the Prophet (ﷺ) visited us, both in the mornings and evenings. My father Abu Bakr thought of building a mosque in the courtyard of his house and he did so. He used to pray and recite the Qur'an in it. The pagan women and their children used to stand by him and look at him with surprise. Abu Bakr was a Softhearted person and could not help weeping while reciting the Qur'an. The chiefs of the Quraish pagans became afraid of that (i.e. that their children and women might be affected by the recitation of Qur'an). حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ لَمْ أَعْقِلْ أَبَوَىَّ إِلاَّ وَهُمَا يَدِينَانِ الدِّينَ، وَلَمْ يَمُرَّ عَلَيْنَا يَوْمٌ إِلاَّ يَأْتِينَا فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم طَرَفَىِ النَّهَارِ بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيَّةً، ثُمَّ بَدَا لأَبِي بَكْرٍ فَابْتَنَى مَسْجِدًا بِفِنَاءِ دَارِهِ، فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ وَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ، فَيَقِفُ عَلَيْهِ نِسَاءُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، وَأَبْنَاؤُهُمْ يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ، وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَجُلاً بَكَّاءً لاَ يَمْلِكُ عَيْنَيْهِ إِذَا قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ، فَأَفْزَعَ ذَلِكَ أَشْرَافَ قُرَيْشٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ‏.‏ 4:6 Qur'an Test ˹the competence of˺ the orphans until they reach a marriageable age. Then if you feel they are capable of sound judgment, return their wealth to them. And do not consume it wastefully and hastily before they grow up ˹to demand it˺. If the guardian is well-off, they should not take compensation; but if the guardian is poor, let them take a reasonable provision. When you give orphans back their property, call in witnesses. And sufficient is Allah as a ˹vigilant˺ Reckoner
