Great interview!! I always viewed Muhammad Hassan as what Sgt. Slaughter was like during his heel run in 1990-1991. Same exact thing.

Can't imagine losing my career for doing everything my boss told me to the T. But I'm glad fans NEVER blamed this fellow

Even as a 13 year old kid I loved this guy and appreciated his work, to me he wasn't a heel because everything he was saying was the truth! To think he was only 23 or 24 when he left, to be that good that young, imagine how good he would've become as he got older and more experienced. He was only on the main roster for about 8 months and people still talk about him to this day, just shows what an impact he made. Glad to see him doing well, seems like such a cool, down to earth and humble human being.

Worst shaft job in the history of wrestling , he got over in a time when NO newer guys outside of Cena were actually getting over in the WWE , damn shame …I was the kid that cheered for the Heels and Muhammad Hassan was definitely one of my all time favorites

I'm from New Zealand & I remember his run & I was all for it. Absolute fire. He was brilliant & captured the full essence of that character. I legit thought it was a shoot. He was that good.

It is so sad how bad Arab Americans, or Arabs in general were treated after 9/11. Pissed me off all the time when I would hear (and still hear) from people in my own extended family. Every Arab I have ever met has been the nicest, most humble & giving people I have ever met. I am sorry you had to deal with all the bigotry. I hope you are not on the receiving end anymore.

Muhammad Hassan was a great heel, and a great wrestler, and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He was very underrated. Its crazy because I witnessed 9/11, and I never got caught up in the hate towards him that most fans had. I didn't understand as a teenager, but as an adult, now I understand why I didn't hate him.

ARGUABLY THE BEST HEEL OF THE MODERN ERA THE SMART FANS WERE ROBBED WE APPRECIATED HIS HEEL WORK THE SOCIAL MEDIA STUFF ON THE INTERNET WASN’T THAT BIG OTHERWISE IM SURE WE WOULDVE HAS HIM BACK AFTER VOICING OUR CONCERNS LIKE TODAY

Muhammad Hassan has to have his place in HOF. Even though it was short-lived, the character had a huge impact in WWE

Even though his career was so short the guy left a mark on wrestling and is still remembered. The obscene talent he had at his age especially then being 23? That's astounding. So many even now struggle to be that level of promo. Always been in my boy stable of boys and bah gawd he's locked in there forever more xD

I got to meet him at WrestleCon in Dallas and what a gentleman he is. Class act.

Imagine getting fired for something you were dealt a bad hand by. The way Muhammad was fired was unfair.

One of my favorite wrestlers in that era damn he played him so well. He still looks great till this day 🤩😍

He was so good in his job that as a Persian, I could only see how it all aligned to his story and character, he actually made me believe he was an Arab and Sean Daivari was also great, such a great job he did back then

As always, Chris makes these interviews a great watch. Great rapport with the guests and puts them at ease to get comments from them.

I would love to hear him again but talking about the guys and girls that he was around in the locker room and his memories of them. He was in SUCH an interesting time

It's always good to hear former wrestlers are succeeding in other avenues besides wrestling.

I'm from Portugal, and at the tine i was watching Muhammad Hassan in WWE i was 14, 15 years old, and i didn't understand why he was hated so much, and was at the time my favorite wrestler, and when he had the match with The Undertaker at the Great American Match i fought for real that he was killed by The Undertaker, i didn't have internet so could not knew what was happening, and really fought he was dead lol, thanks Chris for this interview!!!!

He was a great heel and got a tremendous amount of heat from audiences.

One of my favorite charcaters. Sooo underrated. While I understand, it is still a shame WWE got rid of him

This is one of my best friends when I first started a Ovw along with Johnny Jeter, Chris Cage, and Nova and Kevin, Fertig and Travis Tomko and Renee Dupree and Mickey James. Mark is not lying about how good he was at Ovw‘s gimmick they had for him at the time called “this year‘s model Mark Magnus“ they honestly could’ve put that on television the next week for raw/SmackDown and we would be seeing a very different story about him today and wrestling history in my opinion. They also screwed the pooch royally on Johnny Jeter! That everybody and their mother could see was one of the best selling baby faces and high flyers that we were all comparing to a modern day Ricky Morton at the time. And that’s no hyperbole! These guys were really that damn good! And they both busted their ass for years without a wrestling contract, but kept up with everyone of us that were under contract until WWE finally, signed them both. Super happy for my brother Mark Copani & what he’s doing with his life today

Mediterranean region. By the way Mojo Rawley, Mansoor and Sami Zayne were the only real arabs in WWE. Daivari Brothers were Persians.

It's unbelievable - he was going to become World Heavyweight Champion one minute, then fired the next and it wasn't even his fault. Crazy.

Imagine if won the WWE Title. In their first interview, he was originally supposed to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Batista.

It is a travesty how Marc's career in wrestling was derailed because he was handed a character that he played extremely well! WWE really dropped the ball with him. Crazy how his run was less than 7 months!
