Maven needs to give himself more credit. I was a diehard wrestling fan in my childhood but stopped watching it when I hit 18. I hadn’t watched the sport in over 15 years. However Maven’s KZread channel not only got me interested in the WWE again but it got me watching wrestling again. His videos are so interesting and authentic. And I actually think he could have been a bigger star had he been able to do KZread while wrestling. Because I see so many people in the comments going “I wasn’t a fan of Maven back in the day but now he’s one of my favorite wrestlers” or “I never knew he was this great of a guy. I really wish he was still wrestling”. We just didn’t get to see his real personality until now. I know he’s extremely humble and wouldn’t ever blame anyone but himself for his career. But I really do think he was wasted potential. However now he’s completely revived his career and he’s really re-energizing the sport in a big way. I really hope the WWE brings him back on as a commentator. Dude should be hosting their behind the scenes content and being incorporated in live recordings doing back room interviews etc. Seriously he’s such a star and they are missing out. But yeah he’s way too hard on himself. Although I do respect that he doesn’t have an inflated ego.

Another great interview Chris. One suggestion, if this is YOUR studio, you should have the guest sit where you’re sitting (with the rocky background) and you in front of the acoustic panels. It emphasizes the fact that it’s your studio, and the guest has a more “natural” background.

Maven is such a great communicator. The way he uses the language, his tone of voice, the emotion that he measures as he speaks... I truly believe that wrestling was just one path that he used in his early life but his true calling is to communicate and connect through the use of language. If you ever read this Maven, keep going, keep expressing, and thank you!!!

Maven is like the polar opposite of Rybotch. Both didn't succeed much in WWE but had different approach when it came to reflecting their experience. Maven respected this industry & gave honest thoughts as well as admitted his mistakes. That's why I respect Maven a lot.
