@KhazariaProject I think a Bukharian can appreciate Ashkenazi culture. I'm a Muslim Uzbek and grew up among Bukharian Jews and Tajiks listening to Central Asian music, like this Bukharian song. After I came to United States I've come to love a lot of new things. And I tell ya, herring on rye and latkes are to kill for. And breakfast without a bagel is not breakfast anymore. And Klezmer music ROCKS!!!

@ipi5hl yes, it is an Iranian language, but it shares more similarities with Tajik, Persian spoken in Central Asia which has much Russian and Uzbek influence. And Bukharian Jewish Language (Judeo-Tajik) is influenced by Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Uzbek, and of course, Tajik

As an ashkenazi, its difficult to feel this music but I can try to appreciate it. I doubt a Bukharian would like Matzoball soup and Lox and Bagels!
