Hi Rena, there’s a specific thermal plate for each size and shape, the machine will be the same as what I used in this tutorial. Just need to replace the thermal pad with narrow bottom.

Hi MRBHon, better to look for a supplier near your place. they can advise as well if HP410 can be converted or not. i am using Epson L805, it is the cheapest printer here in the uae that you can converted to sublimation.

Hi MrIMacro, If you're in dubai, i can provide devices and materials. otherwise, you can check in any amazon websites. it is all the same. not all printer can be converted to sublimation. i recommend epson L805. good quality, then convert this to sublimation ink. as long as the edge of the paper is blank it won't transfer on your mugs.

Whenever I try to do detailed black and white images they look very sepia. If they arent detailed the black look fine. Ive tried less temp and time and nothing helps. Ideas?

Hi PTC, Sublimation is really quite tricky and challenging. There's a lot of factor. First, better to Calibrate your printer settings. I have a tutorial as well about this. After this make sure you artwork is in CMYK format. You can also try to change the black to CMYK(30,30,30,100) respectively.

ive been having a problem getting clean edges on the sides they seem faded not like yours any suggestions appreciated

Hi Mary, as much as possible put at least 5mm space on both ends. it is normal specially if you're trying to cover the whole mug.

Hi Hasseb, there are lot of things that we could consider. Make sure you are using sublimation ink, sublimation paper and sublimated mugs.

Print on the sublimation can not properly on the mug with setting similar to your one like 380 t0 400 temp and 3 mins

Hi Haseeb, sorry i missed your comments. You need to check if the ink is for sublimation so we could analyze the issue...can you confirm if the ink you’re using right now are still the same original ink included in the package?

hi Sunil, (1) there are some websites that offer free images like freepik.com or pexels.com, but for anime, not sure where you can get free images. i got some free images on seeklogo.com but i'm not sure if it is copyrighted. (2) you can use any version of adobe photoshop.

Hi Abhay, A4 size is 21x29.7cm. you can cover the mugs using 21x9cm. so you can print 3 designs in 1 A4 size paper.

it is either the color/printer is not calibrated or, try to reduce the time. yellowish also caused by overcooking.

hi Honey, may iba iba pong factor kasi.. 1. ung injet matte coated paper po ba is for sublimation? 2. ung mug for sublimation din po ba? hindi po kasi lahat ng mug na puti pede printan. 3. sa machine po gamit ko si 360 temp / 60 secs. if sure po kayo na ang paper po ninyo at ink ay for sublimation.. then most probably po baka sa mugs ang prob.

Master, ok lang po ba sa paper type: plain papers, anu po kalalabasan, wala po kasing matte na option sa printer ko po sana masagot master

HI Aj, first po dapat sublimation paper, sublimation printer and sublimated mugs. para mag work. then sa pagpirpint.. ung about po sa color options depende po un sa papel at ink.. pede nyo po itry kung minsan po nagiiba ang kulay..kaya kailangan icalibrate mo ang printer mo manually. meron akong isang tutorial about calibration. medyo mabusisi.. pero worth it para hindi sayang ang materials mo kakaulit...

Yung temp mo na 300 degree, Celcius or Fahrenheit?

Hi Saundarya, i use sublimation ink.

For me, after 2 to 3 days, the mug colors are getting peeled off while holding or rubbing the mug. This way customers won't be able to use it or wash it. Currently we are using 370 degree and 120 seconds.

Hi Rena, you cannot sublimate the inner part, though there are some mugs that has already different solid colors available in the market.

hi Hector, yes it is ok to use a laptop. i am also using a laptop connected to a monitor to see the real color.

Pinanood ko tlga ito kasi bumili ako sa shopee ng thermal tape na gagamitin ko sana sa wiring ng motor.. dun ko napansin may "mugs" sa dulo ng title ng item. So hinanap ko meaning, at eto na nga.. pra pala sa mugs yung nabili ko. Hayup 😅🤣🤣🤣

hi the arslan, blurry sometime happen because of the press. try to make it more tighter while pressing it to make sure that there will be no space between your mug and paper.
