Mudryk is young and still learning. He is miles away from being the finished article. His value is in potential but he needs the right coaching. THAT is why Arsenal would have been so good for him, they had serious plans for his development. At Chelsea he isn’t going to progress the same way.

Him and enzo are DEFINITELY not worth more than €70M. They are talented but it's not like the numbers are supporting their current value anyways. Tuchel gave us a league title with way less I presume so Potter has NO excuses. Both players have massive potential to be great players but only a good manager and club can make that happen. He certainly has raw talent and potential which may well develop into the Eu100m player he was touted to be in Jan. But he has a way to go to recap that level, and as an Arsenal fan, I agree with Arteta that paying that sort of money for potential is difficult to justify for a club with our level of resources.
You can see he's really trying. Give it a few good coaches. Or maybe just one, and he'll definitely be up there.
Mudryk has talent! The problem is the coach.. for example Rudiger was abt to leave Chelsea for not performing that great.. but Thomas came in n evolved Toni n he was exceptional.. Mudryk needs a coach like that. Who can boost his confidence! He's very young. He can develop into a killer winger.. Coach is the problem!
He is doing great in my Middlesbrough career mode in the EFL League One... Actually I was surprised he agreed to join a 2nd division team from Chelsea. Purely class flair which is something only special talents have so I hope they prove their skill.
Confidence is gonna be huge for him at his age, and the whole thing is, with the price tag and hype and all, pressure tends to ramp up the longer it takes him to deliver. Lot of pressure ne need to learn to play with new team mates but he is really explosiv talented young powerful player
this guy's has got the minerals it's all about the system he's in atm. he would cook for Arsenal that's for sure
From an Arsenal fan. Play to his strengths he is World Class. Knowing Arsenal the reverse fixture he is likely to score because we are generous like that. New coach bounce will see him explode
He definitely remind me of pepe's early time at arsenal. Looks promising in the debut and some earlier games, then continue being a mediocre player. Thats the price for having ludicrous price tag, the pressure to perform every single game according to the price tag will eat the player confidence. Everyone will judge you for every mistake and bad performance. Look at the top 10 most expensive players bought by epl clubs, just how many of them actually perform after the big money transfer? Except for van dijk and maybe pogba, other than that have been mediocre players.
He's similar to konoplyanka , if people remember him , headless chicken. Skill set is there , speed is there but naaahhh , he doesn't have it . What the future holds you never know but as of now he's not ready for Chelsea and the expectations
Ahhhh the good ol days where a player like kaka costed 8 mil to Milan.......
He has a wonderful talent but I think he is put under pressure due to the amount he costed the club, give him time!!
I'm glad it didn't work out for us with Mudryk this season. I think he will be a solid player but needs to develop he would not have served us that well in this seasons title charge. Trossard has been much more solid. In a couple of seasons time it may well be different.
Having talent doesnt justify 100m, being effective and productive does, there's plenty of talented players about.
He needs to learn the team game. Mount, Gallagher, Cheek, are great to learn from and are all young so hopefully he’ll settle in.
Elite speed and change of pace.
Football is a team game , team combination is more important than individual talent
Im Gooner and still want to have Mudryk in the team. He is so talent player, if he has a chance with best coach, he will be come a super star
Reminds me of Pepe at Arsenal... came with high expectations and a high price tag, but ultimately he is not a good fit for the team. Eventually he will spend more time on the bench, start to lose confidence and fade away....
Does well when there's space to run into. When the flanks are well closed, gets lost completely.
What a bargain he’s worth 160mil+ now
Said he's going to be a flop when they signed him and he already looks pretty bad. He's speedy and has good feet to an extent, clearly his dribbling can't get him past a low block or good defenders. If a 100m signing can't score or assist for a club in their first few games, they're not worth the money. If he was 19 or 20, sure, he has time. But he's 22. A 22 year old is nearing the time where they should be at their peak and should be close to where they will be in a few years (and Chelsea want an amazing player), which Mudryk is not great.
He looks like a monster in the making.
He has the attributes to dominate in his position, with the right coaching and system tho.
definitely worth
He's good talent, world class soon. I'm Arsenal fan.
Tbh looks like he will be great
he feels like his playing under alot of pressure , he needs to calm down and play the game as an arsenal fan i know his talented just needs enough time to adjust to the premier leage give him time
In the summer he should go to brighton on loan to gain some confidence in pl also de zerbi is coach who said that he is generational talant and gave him time in shakthar…imo he should go on loan
The question isn’t “is he worth what they paid” because it’s not the player’s fault a club were desperate enough to force a pricey transfer. The question is “given time, will he be a good player for this club” he seems to be playing with a lot of intent. Hopefully the team can score a goal in the next 8 games and take pressure off of him.
