Hello everyone! We just wanted to add more info about the "voice" we captured. Firstly, we are mudlarks and are not interested in fooling anyone. I (Alex) only noticed the odd "voice" when I came to edit the video. It is nothing like my or mums voices and it caught me off guard the second I heard it! Mum and I replayed it over and over and over as we couldn't believe how much it sounded like casual speech. Our mic is attached to the top of the camera and has a "dead cat" muff to protect it from wind noise as it was a little breezy. We can't remember hearing anyone speaking on the day, however, and we have never experienced the mic/camera playing up in this way before either. The clip is not trimmed down, the "voice" appears the second I pressed record on the camera. Before mum even started to talk. There was a lot of noise from the train overhead, the river waves and the breeze; but the "voice" sounds as if it was close to the camera, not background noise. We are sure there is a rational explanation but It would be wonderful to think this is a spirit/ghost or even an echo from the past speaking to us! It is about as close as you could get to history and those that came before us. Gail & Alex x

That is very odd...it is a man's voice..perhaps a EVP? I don't imagine that many people are under that bridge intently concentrating on your surroundings as you both do...bridges have a tragic side to them..they are magnets for suicides...unhappy people who die very suddenly..the perfect recipe for a haunting ...now..of course..my people are quite skeptical of such ideas...well..so was I...I will just say, I don't believe..I know....🤔very funny old world🇬🇧

70 men died building the bridge, that is a high price to pay for a bridge. The voice is very clear and evidence of something paranormal. Its called electronic voice phenomena where people into the paranormal record quite a number of voices from children, men and women. Your collection of finds are lovely and I look forward to seeing some jewellery that you both make. Thank you both. 👍

The voice was very clear and very strange. I thought someone must have been with you. Large gangs of workers used to paint the bridge. I wonder if they drank from glass bottles then just dropped them. That might explain the quantity of glass and the stopple boppers. Excellent views of the rail bridge. For my money the finest example of railway architecture in Britain, and possibly the world.

Things would get thrown around the room in the middle of the night that would cause me to get woken up. I would still be in bed surrounded by carnage. Curtains would also be opened, and lights turned on/off. We have to keep an open mind about the supernatural. Science cannot always explain everything we encounter in our lives.

So familiar the South Queensferry beaches. I’ve taken my grandchildren on many “adventures” on these spots. The beach at the road bridge has lots of metal reinforced glass. My grandson always seemed to be lucky and found some glass bottle stoppers and last Autumn found a slippy new £10 note! I loved your red glass....very elusive.

Another great video! Tons of worn glass -- wow. Also loved the intro music -- guessing that it was local? But it sounded like Bluegrass music from the US (which of course sprang from Scottish and Irish immigrants). As to the voice? Obviously there was no third person there. You are not using a "tape" style recorder where sounds can bleed across the tape from other spots on the tape. You use a Canon M-50, right? It has WiFi and Bluetooth but none of that should be able to inject audio into your recording. It does not have cellular so there is no way that it could pick up a cell phone call. Sometimes there can be cross interference between radio/cellular signals and other electronics, but rarely would it come through as a clear voice. I love watching "ghost hunting" shows, but I really believe very little of it -- I think that there are just lots of odd electrical things going on that their devices pick up and we do not understand yet. So for me I would have to chalk it up to that. Now if you hear a voice that addresses either if you two directly, by name, that would definitely be creepy! But thank you for sharing what is at this time inexplicable!!!!

I think lead in glass makes lead crystal . I know from stained glass that gold is added to make red glass and that is why it is more expensive than other colours . Pink glass is also a little more expensive to buy than other coloured glass sheets ..... as a footnote I dont wish to sound like a clever clogs I just want to be informative . I really love your vlogs and your mother daughter collaboration it is really special . Brian Ferris Pudding stones are conglomerates that may be found around the world, but aren’t common. The pudding stones we find in Michigan were brought by the glaciers from a particular rock face in Canada. I’ve found puddings stones that needed a tractor to move them. We brought my departed Dads favorite to Washington state when we moved here along with a number of littler ones. Funny what someone may think if they dig them up hundreds of years from now.

Glaciers once covered Scotland and much of England, as well as my area (Northern Washington State, USA). Seeing the great variety of stones on the beach in this video shows me that. Glaciers pick up stones as they creep across the landscape, stones of all sorts since the geological makeup of the land they move over varies. As they melt, they drop them. to the joy of today's rockhounds. On our Puget Sound beaches, once buried by glaciers, I find basalt, obsidian, granite of various colors, agate, jasper of various colors, jadite, petrified wood, sandstone, quartz, striped stones and pudding stones. The glaciers left most of them behind.

That is definitely a EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). I am a musician and many times, as I practice and record, I will hear the input from beyond.
