Recons are so under rated, anyone who has ridden one will tell you they’re the most fun atv they’ve ever ridden.

Just snorkeled my sons 350 rancher 2wd.hes happy as hell.i still have to do vent lines,Dielectric grease all electrical,and do some better silicone in areas but we have the snorkel Air tight so far! Enjoyed the vid man!!

Sold my Canam Commander 1000xt for a boat and now i"m missing the hell out of it. Thought about building our old 2000 recon 250 2x4 that we bought brand new 24 years ago. After watching you almost get stuck in the smallest damn mud hole i've ever seen i'm not so sure its worth the build LOL

Yeah you should look into a 300. Basically a recon but a little bigger with 4x4. That recon is made for the trails 😂

@@jbccamp I know.. I've actually already been looking at getting a 300 but all the ones around me in Houston have been parted out and whatnot so it would be a larger project than I really want to take on unless I find one in better condition for a decent price.

Yeah hopefully you can find one. They are so worth it. I wouldn’t pay more than 2500-3000 for one. I gave 2500

If you put better mud tires on the rear of the recon it would do a lot better in the mud I put some sunF A-024 mud tires on all 4 of my recon and it does amazing In the mud I with I could ride trails like that that looks fun

Thinking about rancher 350 swapping my recon 250. Haven’t seen anyone do it.

I have a 1997 honda recon 250 and I jumped it 8 ft in the air, broke the swing arm but it drove all the way back to my buddys house like nothing ever happened

I’m on a brute 750 now and I will still say the recons are the funnest 2wd utility four wheeler ever! Any reason why you got rid of the snorkel?

lol agreed, and only reason i did is because i didn’t ever take it deep so i just took it off

I like the recon it is real fun to slam around in the woods but I prefer the 300ex or somthing

I’m looking at buying one used the recon. They say $300 no brakes everything else good. Actually named the 4wheeler title as 2000 rancher 350 😔

how god does the 350 pull them bkts in deeper or thicker mud i got 27in zillas on my 2wd but might go bigger

they pull suprisingly pretty good. since we have 2wds, the bigger tires can pull using less torque. prolly wouldn’t go over 30” tires

no because 2x4s take less torque to spin the wheels
