You're a good rider to get through all the thick mud without a fall, Adrian. Well done. I prefer gravel, that's the Nürnberg way (we are old limestone mountains). Cheers, Günter

Hi Adrian! Nice videos! Congrats! I have a Strom like yours, but is black/red instead of black/yellow! I'm considering changing the oem tires for some 70 road/30 off-road ones... And strugling like you did, to get some decent tires... Can you please advice me with your feedback? Did you notice a big diference with those Deli front, Metzeler back tires on off-road capability comparing with the oem tires? Like grip, braking, cornering? And are they to noisy in pavement roads? Good handling on pavement roads? My bigger concern is with the Deli front, since it seems to be a more budget tire... In my country the Metzeler costs more then double of the Deli price... Another question, do you low down the tire's pressure when off-roading? If yes, to what PSI ? Thanks in advance. keep up with the nice videos!

Hi Xavim1780 ! Thank you! Despite of the "no name" brand, i am pleased with Deli Tyre. The grip in off road is way better compared to the original tyres. I am much more confident. No issues on tarmac. You will feel a small difference in smoothnes but only for a 100-200km. After that you get use to. Unfortunately, Metzeler don't have a tyre with proper dimensions for the front to make a pair with the rear one (Street Karoo) I assume that this configuration will be ok for me at least until 2024. In off-road, if the ride is longer i use to lower the pressure to 1.6/1.5 Bar (not lower). For short segments i don't. I have a Xiaomi tyre compressor witch is very useful once i get back to asphalt. Have safe rides with your V-Strom ! Best regards !

@@transylvanianrider Thanks for the reply! I have it for about a month, it's a 2020 with 9000 kms more or less... I'm enjoying very much the machine, I use it 95% tarmac, but I intend to do some light offroad sometimes too. Oem tires are at half it's life, and I will make 2 big trips until June, one of 1000kms, another about 1500 kms, both on tarmac. I will keep this tires until after this trips on tarmac, and after June I will change the tires, probably to same as yours (Deli+Metzeler). For sure the oem tires with a lower pressure can do light offroad, with some caution... Thanks once again! Be safe, and keep the good videos! One more subscriber! ;)

@@xavim1780 I did a lot of off-road trips with OEM tires. The main ideea is to take it slow, and discover the bike behaviour. The profile of OEM is not good for off-road/mud but very good for tarmac. I did 15 and 17k km with the originals. Maybe until you need to change them, a new model/profile will be available. I have to tell you that until i adopted this combination, i tried another brand (Mitas Terra Force) but a little bit offset. Even if the grip was way better the position of the bike was changed and i didn't liked. I will always stick with original dimensions. Enjoy your new bike and have safe but fun rides !🤘

Hi video682900 and apologies for the late answer The GS310 was one of my option but i prefered the Suzuki because in my opinion is better looking, and much more reliable. In fact, in 30.000km i didn't had any technical issue. Best regards !
