Last Time, Sakuya managed to bring down the head of NESTS headquarters, Igniz. Now the team can safely head back to base, or will they?
Igniz: You defeated me? Impossible!
Sakuya: I had your strategy figured out, and I beat you before the cannon could go off.
Athena, Vinny and Yoko arrive to see Sakuya beat Igniz.
Igniz: Athena? With the new recruits? But how?
Athena: Don’t you get it? We tricked you and your entire organization, give it up, Igniz, you’re done.
Vinny: Now we just have to wait for Ragna to show up and beat the final boss and we can get out of here.
Ragna then shows up meeting the rest of the group.
Ragna: Hey, I assume you managed to beat the other bosses?
Yoko: Yep, hopefully you managed to beat the last one.
Ragna: Actually, I couldn’t find the last boss, I’ve looked everywhere and I just couldn’t find him.
Yoko: What?
Igniz: You’ll never find him, because the Zero Cannon is about to fire, and it’s aimed at this very building!
Vinny: (Impersonating Fred Jones) Then let’s get out of here gang!
The others: Right!
All 5 members of the group ran as fast as they could and try to escape the building.
Igniz: (Laughs) You’re too late, you can’t escape the Zero Cannon as… IT’S AIMED AT THIS VERY BUILDING?!
The team finds a parking lot and contacts the Dude.
The Dude: I see your predicament, I could just teleport you back, but as you know, you still have one more boss to fight.
Adel then notices something.
Adel: Guys, look for an aircraft carrier called the Black Noah and climb aboard.
Athena: Got it.
The 5 then search for the Black Noah, they do eventually find it and enter the aircraft carrier.
Vinny: Anybody know how to fly this thing?
Yoko: I’ve got this, I’ve piloted a mech, so I should drive this.
Yoko gets to the control panel and manages to get the carrier going, just in time to escape the Zero Cannon.
Athena: We did it, we beat NESTS.
Just then, Rugal appears to confront the team.
Rugal?: What are you all doing on my aircraft?
Vinny: Oh, hi Rugal, don’t mind us, we’re on our way back to base.
Rugal: Um, guys, that’s not me.
The Dude: He’s right, he’s back at base.
Athena: If he’s over there, then who’s that?
The Dude: That’s Omega Rugal, the final boss of NESTS, he might be the most dangerous of them all, he also has a Krizalid assist, as well as teleport dashes and moves that catch you off guard if you get too close.
Ragna: I’m guessing this is some sort of Shadow I’ve heard about. Guess I’ll be facing a boss after all, bring it on.
“Rugal”: You won’t make it back to base, not while I stand in your way.
