The third guy Danny has been one of my best friends since we were kids. I remember when this happened, they forced him to do the dance dance revolution thing against his will. And his mom Janet is the best. LMAO memories

Chris, the delivery of the joke around 8:00 was beautiful. The way you drew it out and checked on the channel, chefs kiss my man. Literally everything was perfect, your body language was even great, the swallow of pain right before checking on the channel and everything. When I read the name of the video, I thought the Reality Show was about guys picking a boyfriend for their moms. The reality was even stupidier (and in the straight episodes: is a guy dating a bunch of girls's moms or is a girl dating the moms of a bunch of guys? Both options sound dreadful)

I really like this style of you revisiting the old MTV stuff. It's a great way for me to go through an episode without suffering through every moment. Instead, that extra time is filled up with hilarious jokes and commentaries by you! I genuinely think you should do more, like how some YTs do read-alongs where they read chunks of a book and have a laugh about it over many YT videos until the book is finished at the end. I think you should find like the top 10 most interesting 'Date My Mum' eps and go through all of them, that sort of thing! It's like watching something for us, getting a hit of nostalgia (which btw, your room raiders ep reminded me I'd seen one with maroon 5 as the rooms being raided lol) interspersed with Chris comedy. Just a thought, but I think it'd help your channel grow :)

The laugh after 14:55 has me convinced everyone is reading off of cue cards.

I am unironically delighted he’s wearing a fall out boy shirt. And it is genuinely sweet they had gay couples on this in 2004 and that their moms supported him. How nice.

There is no looking back with nostalgic laughter, here. The level of cringe in this show - the limit does not exist... Also, I would not be sad about missing out on Nick nor his mom. I legit would want my life to end if I had to be around those people. For any amount of time.

Spent way too long figuring this out and I'm way late to the party, BUT: This episode likely came out in 2006 Someone uploaded a video claiming to be a relative of Daniel, the third guy. The video is a recording from DirectTV (only mention this because I had it growing up and I remember the idea of recording shows blowing my tiny mind) and includes the commercials, including one for the then-upcoming Mission Impossible 3 which came out May of 2006 (among many others which, from what I can tell, first started airing in 2006). They say it was the final episode of the show in the video description, and this is backed up by Wikipedia (basically the only source at this point). Also found out the show supposedly had 4 seasons, yet they're weirdly numbered 1, 2, 3, and 5. Don't know where 4 went, don't think I want to. and yes, I spent way too long finding this info for a throwaway line regarding the dude doing a Napoleon Dynamite reference.

The first guy is what happens when you discover the club scene and get way too into crystal meth!

This video had me dying the whole time. The episode of the show was already BONKERS but your commentary and imitating these dudes was so f*cking funny.

In highschool, the only thing my sister and I could agree on was watching the cringetopia that was early 2000s MTV reality television. It was a ritual of ours to stop what we were doing once we got home from school, and park ourselves in front of the living room TV to watch this and the other shows just like it. Good times.

These MTV ones from the 2000s was my childhood. As a child of a single mother who worked all day. I'd park my ass on the couch smoke some weed and watch these horrible shows. The only thing that made them more outrageous was the spring break additions

This is actually a decent idea for a show! Not to sound shallow but when I date someone I generally look at their parents to get an idea of how they'll look as we age....not that looks mean everything!
