Yes. Very unnecessary. It drains the battery when it's not in use and leaves me helpless when I need it the most in case of power outage

You can use a powerbank to power it with the right cord combination.

@harunadamilola1533 get the port to usb otg cord, and it should work fine. However, you need to use a strong power bank. I advise 40k+ mah and above.

This router is better than what we used to have in terms of speed. But one problem it still has as of today is its powerbank running out earlier than expected. Though I have to go the extra step to construct a customized 12-volts output powerbank that can last up to 7 hours. That's the only way, I'm currently enjoying it. Now I'm sure of at least 11 hours which I get from both followed-come powerbank and my customized powerbank.

Can you help me answer a question about the Battery level. There's no place to monitor the battery level on both the admin dashboard and also on the power bank itself. On the power bank, it has blue light (always on) and red light (when charging). How can I know the battery level? I want to know if it's fully charged before usage.

Sorry is it that the powerbank won't charge unless we switch it on because mine don't show any light if I don't switch it on and if I leave it there to charge without switching it on it won't charge. It charges and show red light only when it is on

Thanks King for your question. The Power Bank normally shows red light when connected for charging and blue light when it is on and working. Kindly observe the power bank to be sure it is charging properly and no physical damage. Thanks

Hi Phey. Thank you for your question.. Please when last did you add data to the Router? Sometimes ,the data balance showing on your MTN Router must have expired without you knowing. Please try this:: Buy small amount of data to add to the Router and try browsing immediately. If it works , it means that the 89gb balance you are seeing there is not valid again. Please let me know if this response helps out in any way.

Should have been better if you guys did not put any power bank instead of deceiving people with that good for nothing power bank. Doesnt even last 1hr, no way to know ba3 level thieves

Please stop misleading people with the caption on how to turn on and TURN OFF the power bank!!
