Dig out trenches half a foot deep under the lawn or in the backyard, lay PVC pipes with the tracks inside them, maybe use flexible ducts for curves but those are soft and will need to be placed in hard housings because then the pipe tunnels will be buried and grass replanted over them and then run the subway trains through them. They will be waterproof with pipe glue at the joints and hopefully a train never derails because it will be extremely hard to get it out. You won't be able to see them except at surface tracks unless you mount a tiny forward camera on the train to show the tunnel ride. It will be like a real subway then.
