Actually the Democratic leadership made a statement yesterday that they will support Speaker Johnson by voting with (most) Republicans to table MTG's motion, which means it can't be brought up for a vote. They stated that they made this decision in support for Speaker Johnson's allowing the foreign aid package, which included vital aid for Ukraine, Israel (with humanitarian aid for Gaza), Taiwan, and other allies, to come up for a vote (and pass). MTG's motion is sound and fury, signifying nothing, just like pretty much everything else she does.
