MTech RA CS Journey in IIT Hyderabad by Anwesha Kar | Placements | Research | GATE | Tathagata Dey
Anwesha Kar is completing her MTech RA in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Hyderabad. She is an upcoming Software Engineer at NVIDIA. Anwesha has served as a research assistant in the Network and Wireless Systems Lab of IITH, with her core area being 5G Vehicular Communications (V2X). She has actively participated in industry-academia collaborative projects and tech shows, and has given talks at IIT KGP and IISER Pune. Additionally, she has two published papers in top 5G journals and conferences. Anwesha had secured GATE rank of 1227 in the year 2021.
The host is Tathagata Dey. Tathagata is completing his MTech from IIT Bombay CSE. Previously he secured AIR 21 in GATE CS. He is an upcoming AI Engineer in Coupa Software with a background of research in NLP. Tathagata has published more than 10 research papers and is also the recipient of the JBNSTS Senior Scholarship award.
In this podcast, we discussed the admission process at IIT Hyderabad, the workload and research environment for MTech CSE, and of course placements.

Hi di, what did they ask you in nvidia placements? Was it related to your research or something else? Also, would you recommend dropping for gate seeing the huge amount of competition increasing every year?
