Thank you so much for the great singing! I miss our little country church so much. Our congregation was small, but we could make the rafters ring with these songs! Some of the sweetest memories of my life. Bless you for making them available for us!

Don't know where you're from but we share the same blessing of talent at our church in Dutton, AL. Usually a small congregation...30 or so... but good sound! We are Baptist. Let me know if you would like to visit.

Go to a Primitive Baptist church, we still do this. The Primitive Baptist were the Baptists untill the Baptist of today broke from us.

@@samcurtis8930 sorry but that statement is so untrue. no baptists believed what hyper calvinisnt pb's now believe. in fact many pb's never beleived in your form of predestanation at all. check out the original tennesse association of primitive baptists (the cades cove church was in this association) and the eastern district association of primitive baptists or the hiwassee association of primitive baptists. also the old regular baptists who once had fellowship with other pb's broke fellowship with them in the 1890's as the old line pb's became hardened in their errors when they began teaching that millions of people are saved who will never hear and believe the gospel. read elder john sparks books on baptist history

@@samcurtis8930 sorry but u are VERY wrong. there were ALWAYS baptists who believed in general atonement and rejected the calvinist version of predestination. the first recorded baptist church started by thomas helwys in 1609 was totally arminian. i am not arminian myself but neither am i predestinarian calvinist. however, even the predestinarian faction of baptists believed the elect must hear and accept the gospel before regeneration can occurs. the 1689 confession makes this very clear when it states "The grace of faith, whereby the elect are enabled to BELIEVE TO THE SAVING OF THEIR SOULS, is the work of the Spirit of Christ in their hearts, and is wrought by the ministry of the Word"....to know that u need a savior and turn to Him is NOT working for ur salvation. it is the opposite. the sinner must realize they can do nothing. it is admitting that u have no power to save urself that causes u to trust Christ. also, under your scheme, you can NEVER know if u are saved. u cannot tell me on what basis God chooses. until u know the REASON He chooses, you cannot be sure He chose you. God does nothing without a reason. He does nothing arbitrarily. if you have been born again, you have a birth certificate. what is yours? can u tell me? the concept of "time" or "temporal" salvation is a presbyterian notion that the hardshells adopted and took even further, to explain why their numbers were dwindling. they began to preach a "comfort" gospel instead of a saving gospel. they stopped telling sinners to repent and believe. they stopped offering Christ to all men. NO baptist believed what u believe before the mid 1800's. the predestinarian PB's began to change their articles of faith, deleting the word "converted" and changing the the word "perseverance" to the word "preservation". ALL baptist articles of faith originally stated the "elect will be called, converted, regenerated and sanctified" in that order. you are NOT regenerated until AFTER you are converted. historical facts my friend, get ur head out of the sand

@@samcurtis8930 "old school" or "old line" (predesinarian)PB's believe millions of people will be saved who never hear the gospel and never acknowledge Jesus Christ. that is why they oppose missions because they think it isnt necessary. also Old Regular Baptists and United Baptists are also "old baptists" but they reject what your type preaches, and they hold to general atonement, and that the invitation to respond to Christ can be resisted, so it isnt accurate to say "That is what old baptists believe". that may be what YOU believe, but it is not what ALL old baptists believe

@@samcurtis8930 you dont have to believe me. google and research for yourself. as for me, i have spent countless hours researching baptist history. the archives at Southern Seminary has the minutes and articles of faith from HUNDREDS of baptist associations going back to the 1700's and ive read them. there were free will baptists, general baptists, regular baptists, united baptists, seventh day baptists, two-seed-in-the-spirit baptists and on and on. not all baptists beleievd the same things even back then. yes i know what "primitive" means. however to say you were "first" is in error. does ur church go back to 1609? that was the FIRST recorded baptist church started by thomas helwys and john smith. they believed in general atonement and were totally arminian. so know you are not "primitive" because the first baptists were general baptists in england long before there were any baptists in america. now let me ask you a question....do you believe that all who will be saved, will DEFINITELY acknowledge Jesus Christ in repentance in THIS LIFE? do you believe many are saved WITHOUT ever hearing the Gospel? if you answered yes to the first question, and no to the second, then you are NOT "old line...and i hope you arent. it is heresy to tell someone they can be saved and never repent and believe the saviour. "if you CONFESS with your mouth, and BELIEVE in your heart, you WILL BE SAVED (rom 10:9)

This is beautiful singing indeed. The Primitive Baptist, Church of Christ, Mennonite, Amish, and we of the ancient Eastern Orthodox Churches sing A Capella only. Greetings to you fellow Christians from St Michael's Eastern Orthodox Christian Church Pueblo CO. A Capella singing comprises about half the entire Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom we have used for 17 centuries.

@@cutterdent7114 many missionary and united baptists sing this way. the only difference is we believe it is a preference and not a doctrine. we dont look down on those who choose to use instruments. also there are many "church of christ" churches who now use instruments. did u know that maost baptist churches were simply called "church of christ" before the civil war? the deed on out church whcih was started in 1789 just says "the church of christ at nails creek"....we began using the word "baptist" more when the morons came on the scene because they were originally called "the church of christ" and we didnt want anyone to confuse us with them. also alexander campbell who started the restoration mvmt was a baptist preacher. the brush run church was in the redstone baptist association
