I got to the first wall and chickend out. Just watching this gave me clamy hands but I've been wanting to overcome my fears and I'm thinking tackling this with my group. Thanks for the footage!

Maybe a gopro9 with horizon stabilization would have helped me to watch the rock climbing without vomiting hahaha

Always regret not climbing tippo but Mt Beerwah was a bit of fun ..

Went there (Tibro) today Feb 16th 2014 and it was closed, Rangers staked out the front. It'll be right in a month or so once the foliage grows back and the rock stability is checked.

I drove out to Ngungun this morning, then swung by Tibro, area is closed of for back burning.

This one is definitely not closed as of 2 days ago.

Fuck that, it looks like one slip and you're fucking dead. I want to do this but I have no climbing experience.

How does the descent compare to Beerwah? I found coming down the majority of beerwah crab-style like the guy in red shirt at 6:10 to be a lot easier than expected! But climbing a long way down ladder style and facing the rock kinda freaks me out. Is crab style most of the way down possible with Tibro?

Dont know how this will help 2 years later but I just climbed last weekend and crabbed the whole way down

How do you get down?

Is the summit track still closed or is the information on the government website out of date
