One trick is... lay out a sheet of paper. Place all screws onto areas of the paper relative to their spacing/location on the laptop. Some screws need to be longer to fit 'thru' several pieces on the plastic case; others need to be quite short so they only attach a single device or layer. There might be 3-4-5 difference sizes based on length and diameter, so I am careful about laying out screws on that sheet of paper. (Better yet, a hand-towel so they can't roll around or slip here or there.) There is no technology that changes more than the Wifi card, and there is a new AX'7' series being delivered. This computer is showing a Series 5 installed, and they are recommending the good AX211 - but it's still only AX6-generation. Definitely pay attention to the CNVio FORMAT option, too. When I get 4tb M.2 cards for 'drive C:', I know Drive C's can only be max-formated to 2tb or less. That leaves some unformatted capability. I recommend a 512gb or 1tb C: Drive format, and use the rest as a Drive D: supplemental data drive. THEN jam the biggest possible SATA SSD (8tb, currently) as Big Storage.

Focus on the side and HDMI port on the back. Simply slide them into and align them well with the cover holes. Then push the cover back from the back to the front. (technically the opposite direction of the disassembly) Putting everything back is less stress to the plastic cover so should not be an issue.

Wow this model support max Ram of 64GB 54k right now for 17 inch i7 model with 512 ssd. ITs a steam and we can just replace the 8GB with 2x32GB crucial and it will become a beast. Also there is a free Sata slot where you can put a Sata SSD. I hope they have left the slot free. As there does not seem to be an extra NVME slot If there was then I would have prefferred they put extra battery in the space of the Sata SSD. Like Asus F17 have done.

You are right and will update in the video description. Intel 9462NGW is CNVio and AX201/AX211 cards are CNVio2 cards. CNVio2 cards are NOT backward compatible. So in that case your best module can be AC 9560.

Can be several factors. (Are you playing on 2.4GHz or 5Ghz?) The router Antennas aligned properly, have sufficient signal strenght? Check the router Wifi channel also. Maybe you are in a crowded noisy enviroment. There are simply so many factors which can effect the WiFi signal. But as you mentioned, sure the internal adapter can be an issue as well. Hope I could help. :)

I have the same laptop and recently I am having a similar issue where the wifi adapter stops working and a code 43 error appears next to it in the device manager when playing a game. Tried almost everything which doesn't involve opening up the laptop (clean install drivers, network reset, clean boot) but still didn't work. I suspect it is a problem with the adapter

I rather check the temps during the gameplay. Maybe it is time to clean up those fan grills and repaste the GPU. I believe 16 GB as total should be fine for games. Try to run GPU-Z during gameplay and monitor the temps.

Also depends on the country you live and the rules applied there. For example in some EU country you can swap and do whatever you want with your machine as long as you keep the original parts. In case of warranty repair you have to provide those parts too for the troubleshoot process. Also as I know such sticker is against the law in the US, but not 100% sure about that.

Sure, but honestly if you're using this as your primary gaming rig, you're doing it wrong. I have this laptop as my school and work laptop that I can also play games on not as my main gaming computer. I have a desktop for that and if you're looking for something powerful, you should honestly go for the newest generation of consoles over a budget gaming laptop. The consoles will always perform better.

Best option is to download CPU-Z and you can check which actual model is in the laptop without opening it up. (or HWinfo). But are you sure you have only one 8GB module in your laptop. Usually they do a dual channel setup which means both slots are occupied by 2x4GB in that case.
