    Not going to comment on any improvements required to this production, as it isn't needed. Well produced, excellent information provided and would say it has made the best visual performance ever for my sim. Weldone and many thanks for sharing this !

    Try setting Negative LOD Bias in the Nvidia Control panel to ALLOW. You will find this sharpens up the instuments in the cockpit.

    Thanks for this! I like how you list your settings. A small suggestion, we can see your settings and hardware, it would be informative to cross-reference those with your FPS. Well produced!

    Thank you for the comment! :) Current my setting is fixed at 30 frames with Motion Reprojection setting, so the frame is maintained at 30. When I turn off the MR, the average is about 35 frames. In the next video, I'll come out with the frame count :)

    Hello with these settings you have an image as clear as that in the helmet me personally but with my settings the texture is quite blurry but on the other hand the cockpit is really honest

    These settings helped me a lot! CAS at 70% was indeed the culprit of the stuttering graphics. Using a 2080S and I9 I could use all of your settings and keep 30fps (except over Tokyo where it dropped to 28), the only thing I couldn't do was override the resolution, had to leave that off. Still waiting for those GPU's to drop to reasonable prices ;) Edit - Only now I see you drop scale to 85% in WMR. Why not leave that at 100% and lower the override resolution in Toolkit? I prefer to leave it at 100% in WMR, otherwise I have to keep changing that setting per game.. :)

    Hello! Thank you for your comments. I'm glad it was helpful. :) i'm also waiting for the price of the GPU to be reasonable. Yes, that's right! i'm also currently using 100% in WMR. it's the same as setting in Override resolution. :)

    @@fssimpilot2352 Are you sure about that? I read a bit about this in the past and if I rememnber correctly you now use 85% of the override resolution in toolkit. Not completely sure about this - it's confusing when you can fiddle with the same settings in multiple places :) So in your case in wouldn't matter if you would set WMR to either 10% or 100%, you think the override in Toolkit resolution completely ignores the WMR resolution setting?

  • @fssimpilot2352

    @fssimpilot2352

    Yep, sure! :) I've tested 2 cases, you can increase the settings in WMR or increase the resolution in override setting. It's just that you can set a more granular resolution only in override.

    @@fssimpilot2352 So - sorry for sounding stupid but I still find this confusing - I remember an explanation of the FSR setting - if you have WMR at 100% and FSR at 80%, you use 80% of WMR's resolution, so in this case 80%. But if you have WMR at 50% and FSR at 80%, you use 80% of that 50% resolution. But in the case of the Toolkit override resolution, the WMR resolution simply doesn't matter at all?

    @@MrEDET Hello! You can also check the OpenXR Toolkit website. >> Override resolution: Enable overriding the OpenXR target resolution (same as what the “custom render scale” in OpenXR Tools for WMR does). The override setting is the same as the WMR setting. In my case, i'm using DLSS settings in MSFS and setting it to WMR 100%, FSR 100%, and setting the resolution only with Override settings. Using the override setting will eliminate the FSR resolution. To use FSR resolution, you can set the resolution you want in WMR and set the FSR resolution. :)
