The updates to the Kodiak from SimWorks and this tutorial have been spot on making this plane challenging but predictable and this plane has a personality!......I am using the Logitech TQ and this was still very relevant.

I found what made my fuel cut off not work anymore after SU8. That sensitivity extremity dead zone 20% was reset. Great video. I bookmarked it to keep 4 ever if something does not work anymore. Sim Update reset the Bravo default profile also with SU8 so middle row switches where in conflict again with the bottom left switches on the Alpha and also on Bravo again the switch button 47 / 46 where turning Avionics on and off again. MS / Asobo never thinks about peeps owning both end up with huge mapped binding conflicts if you own Alpha and Bravo. Everything is working and better with the not jumping prop so big thanks.

Thanks very much Mark for revisiting the power management settings for the Kodiak (which as you say will apply to other planes with reverse thrust as well). (I used the settings in your 4th December 2021 video for the V1F Controller). I tried to apply your new Bravo settings in this video to the V1F Controller and the Throttle and Prop settings worked fine - I'm getting reverse thrust and prop feathering perfectly. However for some reason I couldn't get the Condition Lever settings to work at all. The V1F Lever detent position didn't take the planes' lever into cut off. I have ended up deleting both the recommended Condition Lever Axis Cut Off and the Decrease Condition Lever 1 settings and instead have set "Neutral" on the Sensitivity of Joystick L Axis 6 to -(minus) 100%. That was the only way I could stop the lever going into the Cut-Off position below about the 50% position on the V1F Lever. If you get a chance could you please have a look at it and see what you think. I would be most grateful for your opinion.

Hi, not sure if you were able to resolve this. I was having the same problem and the only work around I found was to create a separate profile for the Kodiak without Mixture axis mapping. It appears Mixture interferes with Condition settings. I also changed the bravo levers to match that of Mark.

Thanks once again Mark, for a super helpful tutorial. I found I needed to use the Propeller 1 Pitch Hi for the Twin Otter as well as the Kodiak. Without that setting, the prop lever in the Twin Otter jumped forward when coming out of feather. With Propeller 1 Pitch Hi applied to Button 26 it works perfectly. Perhaps due to Aerosoft DHC-6 update Version 1.0.6.0 which is my version? Anyway, all good now. Many thanks, John

Your videos are very informative. I use the VelocityOne which I watched your videos on that. The Kodiak is difficult to fly and needs an update. The trim is at minus 38 on take off most of the time and you can loose control of it quickly as it will flip over. The Velocity is quirky and when you touch the trim wheel, it bounces to -1 or 0 which causes the plane to go erratic. Then on landing, the plane will nose dive when autopilot is disengaged. I've learned a workaround by engaging autopilot soon after takeoff, let the trim wheel adjust, and then disengage autopilot. Upon landing, I disengage autopilot sooner to get the plane under control when it nose dives. The Caravan 208B, especially with the mod, is a better plane. Also, the plane will crash if you accidently open the window. Although a pretty plane with many models and liveries, needs an update.

I have had my bravo for just over six months and the toga buttons on certain axes stopped working. I contacted honeycomb and it appears that there are some units out there with wiring faults, specifically the wiring that connects the axis to main board of the unit is not firmly connected to the axis levers and over time from using the throttle the thin wires just break. So I am now sending it back for RMA and getting it fixed/replaced. Just thought I would share this info for any other bravo users out there.

@@SimHangerFS I made a BUG compilation video just know showing all the issues and with reference to your Throttle setup video. I'll use this video on their support to show what needs to be fixed. Strangely no other reviewer showed these bugs yet. Can't fix what you don't show ;-) you will love this plane a lot I'm sure! kzread.info/dash/bejne/eGyZpKZqlNvTYc4.html

Everything was wotking fine until the last update now my kodiak throttle act weird ( not always but sometimes ) when I line up for take-off and move the throttle up in the middle of the runway he moves throttle lever to idle and nothing can be done and lever become unresponsive. it works perfectly fine when the aircraft is OFF and works fine during the taxi but as soon as I put the power above 50% she moves back to idle idk wth is going on.

Check the update has not put all your pilot assists back to on. Turn them off.

I feel that the KODIAK 100 is a ripoff of the cessna 208.
