22 x 3 = 66NM from dest for TOD. VS = (GS x 10)/2. Works like a charm every time. 3 degree VPA. Im sure you have seen that one countless times. Never learned your approach for descent management. Think I need to rewind and take another look at it😁🥳

Any tips to get your cruise speed? I cannot get much beyond 140kts at cruise using 75% power settings!

I never reduce that power by that much at a time. I limit my reductions to 5 inches or less to prevent over cooling the engines

How are you able to open and close the cowl flaps in discrete steps? I use the switches in the cockpit. I have not set up any controls.

make sure you hold them in. check on your tablet on each engine were there will be an image showing the current position of the cowl flaps

@@bernt123 Right, but what I am referring to is the fact that he shows the cowl flaps moving from external views and they go in discrete steps, not continuously.
